When a hose broke overnight and flooded a basement boiler, a 2019 customer's regular service company tried to sell them a new $6000 boiler; Carnot Heating repaired it instead. That 2019 customer wrote that the company replaced the burner unit, circulator, air vents, combustion chamber and gaskets, did a thorough cleaning with an oil filter change, and even touched up the paint. Carnot Heating holds 4.8 stars from 27 ratings on Angi and 4.6 stars from 9 ratings on Google. A 2021 customer, who named the owner as Chris, said he started work on busted pipes one night and was back bright and early during a blizzard, with his crew, to finish the work. A 2021 customer said Chris arrived within 10 minutes of the call on the day before Christmas Eve and repaired the boiler at a price that customer called extremely fair. A 2022 customer who had recently bought a house had the boiler inspected and serviced before winter and said the company arrived right when scheduled. A 2020 customer said the boiler and all associated piping were updated to code. A 2019 customer said Chris came on a Sunday without excessive weekend fees, diagnosed the problem, picked up the parts first thing Monday morning and had the work completed that morning. Its Connecticut HVAC licence, number HTG.0405583-S7, with Carnot Heating as the holder of record, is expired on the state registry, which lists it as lapsed. A 2018 customer was quoted $325 before the visit — a $150 service call plus $175 for parts — and said the problem was diagnosed as a Honeywell zone valve power head; the part run lasted from 10am to 4pm, the final bill came to $425, and that customer said they would not call again.
These guys are excellent at what they do. Responsive, knowledgeable, professional and honest. Highly recommended!
Will hire again!!!!
Chris came out immediately and diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately as well. Can't thank him enough he is honest trustworthy and knowledgeable.
Showed up and got us heat!
I recently purchased a house and had reached out to a few companies with some questions. They responded quickly and professionally. They recommended which services they should provide and also had the most reasonable price. I had to get my boiler inspected and serviced, make sure everything was going to be okay for winter. They arrived right when scheduled and were honest. I am happy that I found a company that I trust so quickly and have someone I can rely on for any future needs.
