Highlights
- Estimate process — 2021 review describes a required paid in-person visit
Stars Licensed Electrical Services is a Boston electrician doing panel repairs and upgrades, general electrical system work, and installing appliances, lighting and fans, with a stated service area covering Suffolk County. The only written account on file is a 2021 review describing frustration over how estimates are handled: the reviewer says an in-person appointment with a fee was required just to talk pricing, and called the process unhelpful. With just one review to go on, ask upfront how estimates and pricing calls work before scheduling anything.

Demands in person appointment with fee to even talk about estimates. Not helpful at all.

What does electrical work cost in Greater Boston?
Typical Greater Boston range for this kind of work, from regional averages — not a quote from Stars Licensed Electrical Services. Use it to sanity-check bids, then get the real number in writing.
Standard receptacle swaps — a new dedicated circuit is a bigger job ($350–$750).
Flush mounts, pendants, chandeliers — hung on existing boxes.
Estimated range
$530 – $1,100
Typical electrical project around $820
