StarTouch Property Services is a 15-person remodeling and property-maintenance company run by president Frank Gomes out of 515 Lowell Street in Peabody. Its listed work covers additions, home remodeling, painting, patios and decks, tiling, and kitchen, bathroom, basement and whole-home remodels. The Better Business Bureau records the business as starting in 2004 and incorporating in 2010, and it has been BBB accredited since May 2013 with an A+ rating. The permit record shows where that work actually lands: 19 permitted projects including deck railings and decking in Marblehead, two bathroom renovations plus kitchen and flooring work in Newburyport, flooring, cabinetry and trim in Methuen, a bathroom addition in Malden, and a multi-year roofing and rotten-siding programme across dozens of condominium units at Constitution Lane in Danvers. Homeowners who wrote about finished work described it warmly. In a May 2025 review, a customer who came by word of mouth from a co-worker had a portico addition built and copper trim added around the house, and praised the craftsmanship, the crew's openness to small adjustments, and a jobsite left tidy each day. Another May 2025 review described a new deck and Pergolux installation and called the crew the neatest contractors that homeowner had come across. Communication is the thing to press on. In a September 2023 review, a customer who had two skylights replaced said calls about a follow-on bedroom window went unreturned for three weeks across at least eight messages and left their reconstruction stalled — a complaint about being reached, not about the work itself. A fourth review, from October 2022, only covers a free consultation and an estimate that had not yet arrived, so it is not an account of a completed job. This is a good fit for decks, porticos, exterior trim and bathroom or kitchen renovations on the North Shore, and it has the condominium-scale roofing and siding experience most small remodelers do not. Before signing, pin down who your point of contact is and how quickly calls are returned once work is underway, and verify the company's Home Improvement Contractor registration directly with the state rather than relying on a directory badge.

Highly recommend Frank Gomes and his team at StartTouch! They were highly recommended by a co-worker and we hired them to do a portico addition and adding copper trim around our house. They did a fantastic job and displayed excellent craftsmanship and turned out a top end finished product. They were receptive to any feedback we gave them and were open to making small adjustments as requested, which we appreciated. The construction crew was professional and always left the property neat and tidy when they left. Highly recommend Frank and his team and hope to work with him for future projects!

Please do not hesitate to hire Startouch for your next project. I love my new deck and the pergolux they installed. I can’t wait to start enjoying my new space this summer. Their entire crew was courteous, professional, skilled, and I have to say the neatest contractors I have ever come across. Not too often you can make a statement like that!

Don't even bother trying to talk with Michelle because she never returned your calls I've been waiting for 3 weeks for return call back. Left at least eight messages. Yes, they replace two skylights for me need the bedroom window replaced which we spoke about my entire reconstruction has been on hold. Will never use them again. Frank Arsenault
