One recent customer says Steve Drager has done electrical work for their family for over 25 years, and at their newly bought home he addressed issues the home inspector found, such as ungrounded outlets, installed new dedicated circuits for air conditioners and other outlets, put in outside sensor lighting, and made sure a nonoperating lamp post had been safely disconnected. A recent customer whose repair became somewhat complicated says he did not leave until he figured it out and made the repair. One customer with a kitchen fan lighting problem says he diagnosed it quickly and fixed it right away. A 2026 customer said Steve installed an outlet for a new stove, squeezing into the tight space behind the old stove, which was hardwired through the floor, and charged a very fair price. A 2025 customer said Steve answered the business phone at 9 PM on a Friday and did a ceiling fan installation on Monday as promised. A 2025 customer said he removed an antique heirloom chandelier, made sure every crystal was packed for moving, and installed a new fixture, testing it to make sure it was to code. A 2025 customer said he installed two vintage ceiling fans and a stained glass pool table light, all needing a creative approach. A 2025 customer said they had had Steve do many jobs since 1988. A 2025 customer said they paid $150 for a 30-minute visit, were told to pick up a part themselves, and got no callback for 3 weeks while the job sat unfinished; an update to that review says he finally came and finished the job. A 2023 customer said he does a fair job when he answers the phone, and called him very unresponsive. His Massachusetts electrician license, number 31396-EL-E, is active on the state registry, with Stephen A Drager as the holder of record. The business holds an A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau and a 4.8-star average from 42 Google ratings.
Great job on our house!
We highly recommend Steve for all electrical repairs. He either answers the phone or if you leave a message he will call back same day or next day. When he says he’ll be there he is on time. He is very professional and knowledgeable. Our repair became some what complicated he did not leave until he figured it out and made the repair. It is a pleasure to work with, we will definitely call him for all our electrical repairs.
Steve came by, worked quick to solve our issue and was very helpful! He also checked out a few other things we had questions about in our new home.
Very prompt. Good service. Will definitely recommend and use again!.
Steve has been our electrician for many years, in three homes. He is very professional, dependable, and honest. He's great at solving any electrical problems, no matter how complicated. He also explains what he's doing very thoroughly and is a kind and thoughtful person.
