Superior Strokes Painting

Eight of the twelve written reviews about Superior Strokes Painting name Steve Nashawaty personally, and a November 2024 Angi customer added that he gave them beef stew. That is the scale of this outfit: a Franklin, Massachusetts painting company — family-owned according to its Angi and HomeAdvisor pages, and in business since 2006 by BBB's count — where the owner is the one who shows up. The jobs run from the whole house down to one room. A 2017 reviewer described a powerwash of the entire house including the fences, plus some interior painting; a 2019 customer had the house washed after Steve returned the call the same day; a November 2024 apartment job took all the oak trim to white; and in 2023 a homeowner had kitchen cabinets painted and singled out how neat and respectful he stayed in a house full of kids and pets. Angi and HomeAdvisor both list high-end coatings — Farrow & Ball and Fine Paints of Europe — alongside powerwashing, deck sealing and cabinet painting. Timing is what customers keep crediting. A March 2025 reviewer had him arrive on time for the estimate and for the job, and finish inside the quoted window. An October 2024 customer was told what would happen at each step and how long it would take. A July 2018 homeowner had a bathroom done on time and on budget. Its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ letter grade. Two things to settle up front. Scheduling: the November 2024 customer who added extra work wrote that they had to wait for him and thought it was worth it, so ask what start date he can hold. Price: a May 2018 customer was reluctant at first because he was not the lowest bidder — not the highest, either — while a June 2024 customer praised the price, so get the number in writing and see where yours lands. He also brings in a carpenter, named as Craig by a June 2018 customer whose rakes were replaced on both sides before painting, so if your house needs repairs first, ask who handles them. A sound call for interior trim, cabinet work or a full exterior wash-and-paint from an owner who does the work himself. Confirm the start date and exactly what the estimate covers before booking.
