A custom deck built around two small dogs is one homeowner’s example of Wyatt Syriac’s work. In an August 2025 Google review, the customer described him demolishing an unsafe deck and building its replacement with balusters and a gate sized using their two seven-pound dogs as models. They also credited him with replacing interior and sliding wardrobe doors, making an odd-size cellar door, and repairing a living-room wall after removing an in-wall air-conditioning unit. The same customer praised his measurements, estimates, cleanup and respect for the property. A February 2026 reviewer described a finished basement project and said Wyatt understood their vision from the first meeting. They recalled that he asked not to hear their budget before preparing an estimate; his quote was the lowest they received. During the project, they said he answered their questions calmly, treated them without condescension and kept to the agreed schedule. They were happy with the finished basement. Other August 2025 customers described flooring, decking, a custom shed, room remodeling, exterior repairs and siding. The customer who described the shed praised precise cuts and the finish of Wyatt’s work, as well as his explanations of options and their pros and cons. They also said he made himself available to help with an emergency home repair. Syriac General Contracting says it serves Springfield, Chicopee, Holyoke, Amherst, Agawam, Northampton, West Springfield and Enfield. Its website advertises free estimates and says the business is insured. Wyatt Syriac’s Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 152076, is active. Google shows a 5-star average from four ratings, and the Better Business Bureau gives the business an A+ grade.
Wyatt handled our finished basement project and I will absolutely check with Wyatt first before tackling any other project in our home. The best way I would describe the process is that we always felt taken care of, which feels particularly meaningful when going through the emotional and somewhat vulnerable process of home renovation. In our first meeting, Wyatt immediately saw our specific vision for the project and insisted that I not give any hint of my budget so he could make sure to give a fair estimate; his quote was the best price of any of the quotes I got. I'm pretty new to tasks like remodeling, but I never felt condescended to in the process with Wyatt. Throughout the project, Wyatt answered all of my questions with care and calm, won over my rambunctious dogs, and stuck to the schedule we had laid out together. We are so happy with the finished project, and I can't recommend him enough. (Phone and social media are the fastest ways to contact him, if you're looking to get in touch.)
I’ve used Wyatt’s services for many years. He’s done flooring , decking, and even built a custom shed for us. Wyatt also made himself available to help out with an emergency repair on our home. I’m always impressed with the precision cuts that are made and the quality finish on the work he has performed. Wyatt is also great at explaining options along with pros and cons during the construction process. I have no complaints and would recommend him to anyone.
I hired Syriac General Contracting for various projects around my home; from room remodel, flooring to exterior repair and siding. They are very professional and reasonable and above all, they do excellent work! They are my go to guys for all of my home repair needs. Highly recommend!
Wyatt Syriac has been a tremendous asset with several projects (and more to cone) on my bucket list of renovations. From 1st contact with budget-friendly estimates and accurate measurements to quality of work, timely completion, respect for property and clean up, I have been completely satisfied with his professionalism and eye for perfection. Wyatt demolished an unsafe deck built in 1987 and built a new one from the underground up with perfectly placed, unescapable balusters and gate using my two 7 lb.dogs as models. He replaced all my interior doors and sliding wardrobe doors on the main floor of my home. Wyatt created an odd size interior cellar door. He also removed an in-wall a/c unit and sheet-rocked the livingroom wall. He gets 10 stars from me.
REMOVEDhandled our finished basement project and I will absolutely check with REMOVEDfirst before tackling any other project in our home. The best way I would describe the process is that we always felt taken care of, which feels particularly meaningful when going through the emotional and somewhat vulnerable process of home renovation.
