Terminix's Cape Cod branch, based in Pocasset, is part of the national pest control franchise, and its Google page shows 4.8 stars from 816 ratings. What comes through review after review is how personal the relationship gets — customers write about a specific technician by name, sometimes across years of quarterly visits, more than they write about the brand itself. The technician relationships described run long. In a January 2026 review, a customer said they'd had quarterly inspections and treatment since their house was built in 2010 — fifteen years with Terminix — and that any bug that slips in gets handled right away. A 2022 review described a rodent that turned up in the attic after 30 pest-free years; an inspector came out the next morning, found the problem, and it was fixed the following day. Recent 2026 reviews describe the same pattern with named technicians — Joe, Ryan, Dan, Rachel, Alexis, Brandon — calling ahead of visits, explaining what they found, and following up afterward; one customer described a mosquito infestation cleared out this way in June 2026. The written record also carries a recurring complaint worth reading closely: three reviews from September through December 2025 describe aggressive or misleading sales interactions. One says a salesperson misrepresented fees, promising a waived initiation charge before billing it anyway. Another describes signing up on the spot for a $2,500 rodent-barrier service during a sales visit. A third calls the initial sales call 'a masterclass in finessing a customer' and describes being run through hold times before a scheduled visit never happened. Separately, reviews from 2022 through 2026 describe a handful of missed appointments and one case where a technician saw yellow jackets in a home but never returned to treat them. For ongoing pest and rodent service with an assigned technician, the reviews are strongly positive about the people doing the actual work. Given the sales-related complaints, it's worth getting any quoted price and fee structure in writing before signing, rather than agreeing to a same-visit pitch.
Amazing experience. Bob Babineau is so kind and did an excellent job at removing the mosquito infestation. Would definitely use again, highly recommended.
