Deep cleaning before a move is one of the jobs customers have described hiring The Maids of Cape Cod for. In an August 2025 Google review, a customer said Doris and team 305 cleaned an apartment after new floors were installed and before the customer moved in; they also praised the office's communication. A February 2025 reviewer described hiring Doris and her team to deep-clean a new condo before moving into it, saying the work was efficient and the team was friendly. The Hyannis business says it offers one-time, recurring, move-in/move-out, same-day and spring house cleaning across Barnstable, Chatham, Falmouth, Hyannis and Dennis. It describes itself as a locally operated franchise of The Maids, run by Donnelly Service Group Inc. The company's website traces the parent operator's beginnings north of Boston to 1995 and describes its expansion to eight locations across eastern New England. That is the parent company's history. Customers writing in 2025 also described cleaning that reached beyond the most visible surfaces. A June reviewer praised the bathroom and kitchen cleaning and said the team cleaned under the bed, a task the customer found difficult because of a hip disability. In May, another customer said the team improved cluttered kitchen counters and cleaned the floor while the kitchen was torn apart. A separate May reviewer said Dina and her team cleaned every two weeks, were careful with furnishings, and had been cleaning the customer's home for more than ten years. There are older accounts of repeat visits, too. In June 2022, a customer with a Golden Retriever and two young grandchildren praised Marissa and the Cape Blue Team for dusting and cleaning, including arranging pillows and stuffed animals. The customer said they specifically requested that team. Google lists the business at 4.7 stars from 49 ratings. A September 2025 customer praised the deep cleaning by Doris and crew 305 but objected strongly to the bill. They said a $600 quote for three hours became a charge well over $1,000, and that the office called more than two hours into the service to announce the higher cost. The reviewer disputed the office's statement that the original quote had been $600–$800 and said they felt they had little choice but to accept the increase.
