Tom Brady Carpentry is a West Roxbury remodeling and carpentry business whose work ranges from finish carpentry and custom cabinetry to decks, doors, windows, basements, and larger kitchen projects. The company says it has provided remodeling services since 2005 and advertises more than 40 years in business; BBB lists Tom Brady as owner and reports 20 years in business. The strongest pattern is detailed praise for careful, responsive work. Homeowners describe repaired and reset kitchen cabinet doors, rotted-entry repairs, leaking windows, decks, stairs, doors, tile, hardwood floors, crown molding, and substantial kitchen renovations. Reviews repeatedly mention clear communication, on-time completion, fast response, clean work, and willingness to explain options; a 2023 review described a five-person roofline trim crew completing its project in a day and a half. Houzz shows a 5.0 rating from one review and seven projects, while BBB gives the business an A+ grade but says it is not accredited. The written reviews are overwhelmingly positive, though most are dated 2021–2023, so confirm current availability, pricing, crew scope, and schedule before booking. This is a sensible call for homeowners seeking hands-on carpentry or a coordinated remodeling job in and around Boston. Ask for a written scope and current references for the specific project type.
“Tom Brady, 49, the carpenter, agreed.”
“I have a company called Tom Brady Carpentry and the year we went to the Super Bowl.”
We had a warped odd sized front door in our craftsman style house built in 1927. Tom Brady replied quickly to our request. He found a period looking modern door and rebuilt the door frame to keep the design features around the door. In less than 2 weeks from my call we had a beautiful new door!
I hired Tom for a few jobs around the house. Replace rotted wood around a front entry, fix a second floor window that was leaking water in the rain, and the water damage on my first floor ceiling caused by the same leak. Tom and his team did a great job. The times I had to reach out to Tom to arrange the work or with questions he always answered the phone or replied soon after. I appreciate that Tom was able to take on the jobs and complete all the work in one day. I highly recommend his company.
I recently had Tom Brady Carpentry replace and install a door and new flooring, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Tom listened carefully to what I wanted, provided excellent suggestions, and delivered more than what I envisioned. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding — everything was done cleanly, precisely, and with high-quality work. The new door fits perfectly, and the flooring looks beautiful and professional. I highly recommend Tom Brady Carpentry to anyone needing reliable, skilled carpentry work. Professional, trustworthy, and truly top-notch results. Will definitely use them again!
Mr. Brady recently helped to correct a faulty wooden staircase that had been incorrectly built by a prior contractor. The stairs were installed poorly and not to code, and were slowly detaching from the upper floor and were unable to bear weight. Mr. Brady evaluated the staircase and explained why the wood was splitting and the staircase was separating. He was very honest when I asked him if the stairs must be entirely replaced and told me that only certain key portions must be fixed (using plywood, straps to the upper landing, and key supports to the steps), keeping the project on budget. His team arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards and the stairs to my basement are now good as new. I will certainly consider using this business gain.
Fine craftsmanship, completed on schedule by Tom and his agreeable crew. Every step of the. work was carefully explained. End of job cleanup done well. We are happy to recommend Tom.
