Trinity Refinishing & Remodeling is a Wellesley-area Massachusetts remodeling contractor serving residential and commercial clients. The company says it has renovated homes for 18 years and offers kitchen, bathroom, basement, exterior, and design-build remodeling. The record is substantial: Google shows 4.5 stars from 27 ratings, with customers describing kitchens, bathrooms, basements, decks, additions, windows, roofs, siding, and water-damage reconstruction. Recent reviews praise clear communication, fair pricing, professional crews, careful work, and finished results. Several homeowners say they would hire Trinity again. There are also serious negative reviews. One recent homeowner reports a six-to-nine-week renovation extending nearly six months, with delays, poor communication, security concerns, and quality problems. Another says an ungrouted shower caused leaks and damage, followed by months without response. A separate reviewer noted an initial kitchen-design miscommunication that was ultimately resolved. These accounts make written scope, schedule, change-order terms, site security, warranty response, and payment milestones especially important. Trinity may fit homeowners seeking substantial remodeling with coordinated trades, but the conflicting experiences warrant checking current references and complaint-resolution practices before signing.
If I could leave 0 stars I would:I would not recommend working with Yuri / Trinity Refinishing & Remodeling. We hired Yuri for our home renovation, and the experience was extremely stressful from start to finish. What was supposed to be a 6 to 9 week project ended up taking almost 6 months, with constant delays, poor communication, and repeated issues with the quality of work. One of the most concerning issues was site management. Our house was left open or not properly locked up, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and worried about the security of our home, since we weren't living there. Communication was also very difficult throughout the project, and there always seemed to be an excuse whenever something was delayed, unfinished, or done incorrectly. There were also several moments where it was clear Yuri did not seem to know what was actually happening on site. At one point, he told us we could move in because all of our appliances were installed. When we stopped by the house, none of the appliances were installed. That was incredibly frustrating and showed a serious lack of oversight and communication. We also had issues with the building permit. Yuri told us the permit was not expired, but when we called the inspection department ourselves, we were told that it was expired. We also searched the permit record and confirmed it was expired. This was extremely concerning and added to our frustration with how the project was being managed. The workmanship was also very disappointing. We had issues with baseboards being crooked, not properly attached, or poorly finished. We also now have cracking in areas where walls and ceilings were patched, which raises even more concerns about the quality of the work that was done. The biggest issue by far is the hardwood floors. We were originally trying to match and save our existing floors, but Yuri’s team told us to purchase white oak, even though our existing floors were red oak. This mistake created major problems from the beginning. The flooring work was done poorly, and we are now left with gaps across large sections of the room, boards popping up, filler coming out, dents/dips near the kitchen area, and uneven flooring throughout parts of the first floor. We have since had multiple professional hardwood flooring companies come out to inspect the floors, and they have all told us the workmanship is unacceptable. We are now being told it could cost thousands of dollars to properly fix the flooring issues. Overall, this was a very disappointing and stressful experience. Between the poor communication, lack of proper site management, security concerns, permit issues, unfinished or poorly completed details, cracking walls, baseboard issues, and major flooring problems, I would not recommend Yuri / Trinity Refinishing & Remodeling.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Trinity Refinishing & Remodeling. They did a beautiful remodel of our bathroom and also helped create and add our kitchen, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, their team was incredibly professional, organized, and truly attentive to our vision. They took the time to understand what we wanted and brought it to life even better than we imagined. What really stood out was their communication—they kept us informed every step of the way, explained all costs clearly, and made sure there were no surprises. The quality of their work is outstanding. Every detail in both the bathroom and kitchen was done with care and precision, and everything came together so beautifully. Even more impressive, they completed the project in a short time without ever compromising quality. Beyond their craftsmanship, they are genuinely kind, respectful, and easy to work with. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, which is something you don’t always find in construction. We are so grateful for their work and highly recommend Trinity Refinishing & Remodeling to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional, and talented team. We will definitely be working with them again in the future!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Yuri our general contractor at Trinity Refinishing & Remodeling. Yuri is incredibly knowledgeable and has managed every detail of the project seamlessly. His pricing is very fair, communication is clear and consistent, and he is truly a pleasure to work with. Everything has been handled professionally and efficiently so far, and we feel completely confident having him oversee our project. Highly recommend!
I received a bunch of quotes to renovate the kitchen and convert the den into a bedroom. Yuri promptly provided an estimate that was very competitive and I went with his company. The work started on time and progressed well. However, the kitchen design was not what we had originally planned for and I was initially taken aback by the miscommunication. Fortunately, it worked out and the final product looked great. We are still enjoying it and getting compliments from friends and visitors on how modern the kitchen looks. I want to especially thank Jonathan for his dedication and professionalism in overseeing the project from start to finish!
I can’t say enough good things about Trinity Remodeling. They built me my dream kitchen. I literally love everything they did and actually surpassed my expectations!! Highest level of professional work!
