The written accounts run October 2014 to February 2022, with one more on Houzz in December 2023. What they say is consistent: on time, sometimes early, tidy at the end of each day. A December 2018 client had a portico and new front steps built and wrote the project went beyond expectations. A July 2018 reviewer said the crew worked through rain the forecast had not shown rather than lose a day. A December 2017 client praised them for knowing the building code and flagging problems in an older house. The complaints are few, old and specific. In an October 2014 review a gutter and leaf-guard customer described paying a deposit in late May, hearing nothing until they chased in mid-July, and then finding nails in the yard — one of which cost a flat tire — while still calling the work good and the price reasonable. Two flags are worth clearing first. BuildZoom carries an ALERT on the profile and says it could not verify a licence with the licensing board, with no active licence on file. And the BBB page — A+, accredited there since 2000, 48 years in business since 1978 — also states the business has one alert. Ask for the Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration number and check it yourself with the Office of Consumer Affairs, and ask the BBB what its alert covers.
