Carlos and his team at US Work were exceptional—truly exceeding every expectation. Quality contractors are hard to find on Cape Cod, but Carlos is a rare standout. He is incredibly professional, arriving well-prepared with our plans printed in poster size and reviewing every detail with care. His estimate was accurate and fairly priced (second lowest of five bids, and the lowest bidder ultimately walked away). Most impressively, he delivered exactly what he promised. He quoted 8–10 weeks and finished in just 7—almost unheard of. Knowing we were living in the home throughout the project, he made every effort to minimize the disruption and expedite the timeline. His crew often arrived by 7:30 a.m. and stayed some days until 6 p.m. Carlos was onsite often, checking progress and communicating with me about even the smallest details. Their craftsmanship was outstanding. They installed two structural beams in our attic as we converted it into a room, running support all the way down to the foundation. This required opening four walls across multiple levels of our townhome, yet when they were done, you’d never know the walls had been opened—everything was restored and painted to perfection. They even matched our original 1975 staircase railing seamlessly. We highly recommend US Work for any remodeling or construction project—from major structural work to the finest finishing touches. Carlos and his team are true professionals, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Carlos was great to work with. As usual, there were a few minor changes needed along the way and they were handled very smoothly. He was very responsive. The work was finishing a room in the basement. See photos but note that I did the painting myself.

Carlos and his team are amazing! We feel so fortunate that we found them. We interviewed many contractors and design/build firms on Cape Cod, looking for strong quality, organization, and communication. Since we live out of state, it was critical to find someone we trusted. Based on excellent reviews, we started a project with US Work Building and Remodeling to renovate our first floor, including the kitchen, dining room and living room, with the goal of being completed by summer. From the beginning we knew we’d made the right choice. Carlos was organized, easy to work with, and tireless. He dealt with all the permitting/the Conservation Board, found the right teams, and connected us with any specialists required. He contacted us when decisions needed to be made either by text, call or video and helped us walk through options. At each stage of construction the work was top quality. We tripled the scope over the course of the project. At each expansion Carlos re-confirmed the June completion date - and at the end of June everything was done, the team was packed up, and the house was clean. The work is beautiful, and the house looks fantastic. In addition, Carlos was wonderful to work with – trustworthy, competent and kind. We highly recommend!

Carlos is the most professional contractor I have had the pleasure of hiring and working with. His employees are meticulous, knowledgeable and did an incredible job on my front door, frame and entranceway.
