Ultracare Movers is a Concord crew people keep hiring for the container jobs — filling a U-Box, a 16-foot pod or a rental truck so everything fits. A July 2023 customer said Malvin and David wrapped up two U-Box containers in under two hours and got the load in ahead of the rain. In April 2022, another watched Shalto, Rome and Jordan load a 16-foot pod and called them careful and hardworking. Speed is the note that repeats. A July 2024 customer packing a pod for a cross-country move in her second trimester wrote that they got it done fast and made everything fit; an August 2024 reviewer said the crew was gentle with the furniture and still worked quickly. An August 2023 reviewer had used the company four times in two years, said no job was too small — apartment contents, a sleeper sofa — and called the pricing reasonable. Two accounts run the other way, and they are specific. A customer writing in August 2023 said the movers arrived 45 minutes late, took almost six hours to pack a U-Haul truck for a small two-bedroom apartment, broke numerous pieces of furniture and loaded the truck improperly. In August 2025, a customer whose move otherwise went ok said the crew left a new 75-inch TV until the very end, and one worker said out loud that he was unsure how it was being packed, so the customer offered to take it themselves. A February 2022 reviewer called them the worst movers they had used. On Google the company averages 4.5 stars across 20 ratings, and its Better Business Bureau profile carries an A+ grade and seven years in business. A reasonable call for a container or truck load-out, a small apartment move, or furniture that needs two fast pairs of hands. Put the fragile and high-value pieces — a large TV, anything glass — on the list in writing before loading day, pin down the arrival time and the hourly estimate, and ask how damage claims get handled.
