Unicca Group Services is a Chelsea, Massachusetts multi-trade general contractor run by Jose Carlos Goncalves, with 31 years in business and six employees. Its Thumbtack profile lists a wide menu of work — general contracting, interior painting, accessibility modifications, room and basement remodels, new construction, and garage additions — with seven projects shown there. The one review on file, from June 2026, describes hiring Carlos as a repeat contractor of over a decade for plumbing, drywall, flooring and painting work, and calls his pricing reasonable. Ask for a couple of references from recent jobs before booking anything larger — Unicca looks best suited to a homeowner who wants one contractor across several trades rather than a single specialist.
Carlos has been my go to contractor for over a decade. From plumbing to drywall, flooring and painting, his work is impeccable, his prices are reasonable, and his professionalism is top notch. I recommend Carlos for all your home improvement needs.
