Unified Contracting Inc.

Unified Contracting Inc. is a demolition and concrete contractor at 381 West 3rd Street in Everett, Massachusetts. Its Procore profile lists demolition and concrete as its specialties, and the Better Business Bureau files it under home builders with an A+ grade, not accredited, and 13 years in business. Its visible work is public: in May 2020 Wicked Local reported a town office issuing the company a notice to proceed on a site rehabilitation it had won the bid for. Customer feedback amounts to one line. Google shows 3 stars from 2 ratings, and the single written review, from December 2022, called the company professional and super responsive. No one has described a job. OSHA's public record lists an inspection of Unified Contracting Inc. (inspection 1619549.015) at a site on Broadway in Somerville. The page on file shows the violations and penalties table heading but none of its figures, so it establishes that a federal safety inspection took place at one of the company's jobsites, not what it found. This is a small demolition and concrete outfit with municipal bid work and almost no public customer history. A homeowner should ask whether the company takes residential demolition or foundation work at all, ask for references, and ask what the Somerville OSHA inspection concerned.
