Unite Contractors

The fullest accounts of Unite Contractors' work date from 2019, and they are about whole rooms: a kitchen gutted with a support wall restructured, a master bathroom finished in Zellige tile the customer called challenging to work with, a two-year renovation of a 40-year-old house. Those are on Thumbtack, where the company's rating is 5.0 across nine reviews and the profile puts the business at 17 years. Roberto Fernandes runs it — customers write about him as Roberto or Mr. Robert — and one client in an April 2019 review said that after their kitchen remodel they brought the crew back two years later for the front hall and living room. Newer work turns up in shorter notes. A September 2025 reviewer said Roberto came out to price the job and Domingos Fava rebuilt their sunroom, and called both men diligent. A February 2024 customer described a bedroom finished on time and left clean, and a March 2024 review credits the crew's attention to detail. On Google the company holds 5 stars from 11 ratings; its Houzz profile carries 10 project photos and a Greater Boston service area. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. The company's own site advertises a wide spread — remodeling, painting, HVAC, paving, masonry, plumbing and electrical, for homes and commercial properties — so ask which of those his own crew handles and which he subcontracts. For a Boston-area kitchen or bath renovation where you want one person running the trades, Unite is a sensible call. Ask for a recent local project you can go and see, and get the schedule and the payment stages in writing before demolition starts.
