Vently Air runs on volume and specialization: it's a duct, dryer-vent, chimney and HVAC service company that says it started in Boston in 2010 and has since grown, and started franchising, into Connecticut, North Carolina, Texas, Florida and Washington, DC. Google shows it at 4.5 stars from 753 ratings, a scale that comes through in the reviews too — a steady flow of named technicians going into homes and condo buildings, mostly for dryer-vent and duct cleaning. The full track record spans 375 reviews from 2021 to 2026 across four platforms, and 40 of them landed in just the last six months. The clearest, most repeated praise is about the people who show up: Paul, Edson, Saby and several others are called out by name for explaining the job, walking customers through pricing before starting, and showing before-and-after photos of what came out of the vents. Reviews from spring and summer 2026 describe competitive quotes against other companies, quick turnarounds, and — for at least one condo building — a certificate of insurance and clear office communication. The same run of reviews also holds a real, recurring problem specific to vent work gone wrong. In a February 2025 review, a customer described a dryer-vent job that ruptured a gas line and set off every carbon monoxide alarm in the house; a May 2026 review and an August 2025 review each describe a dryer that stopped drying clothes, or stopped working entirely, the day after a cleaning. In June 2026, one customer wrote that a $75 quote became a $150 charge for a few minutes of work. Several older reviews, from 2022 through 2024, describe appointments rescheduled or canceled with little notice. For routine duct, dryer-vent or HVAC maintenance, the volume of specific, photo-backed praise points to a company that generally does what it says — but given the handful of accounts of vent jobs that went wrong, it's worth asking the technician to confirm the dryer and gas connections are secure before they leave, and getting the price in writing before work starts.
The tech, Paul, was courteous and professional. He explained what he would be doing and the approximate cost, asked for approval to move forward, shared photos (before and after) of the dryer vent and cleaned up.
Wonderful service!!
Paul was wonderful to work with! He was helpful, kind, explained everything entailed with the work, and did a great job. Couldn’t be happier.
The tech was very knowledgeable and took care of our vent cleaning and explained to us how to make sure that it stays that way
