A recent Google customer had a 16x32 vinyl liner pool with a heater installed, said Chris was with them every step, and said the company works with a contractor for the electrical, fence, water delivery and concrete patio. A recent customer said Vernon Poolman installed a vinyl liner on their inground pool a number of years ago in one day, but the shallow-end floor was wrinkled; the liner failed in one corner in spring 2026 and a different company replaced it. A recent customer called the owner rude and said the company destroyed their yard while building a pool on a neighbor's property. In a 2025 review, a customer said technicians found a crack in the bottom of a skimmer and resolved the leak 30 minutes after getting the go-ahead. A 2025 customer said the company changed the sand in their in-ground pool, found a leak two other pool companies had missed, and charged the quoted price. A 2025 customer said a technician twice left the pump backwashing, and the first time it emptied their inground pool. A 2025 customer said workers broke their fence while opening the pool, and the company then said it could not fix it because its own installer had not put the fence in. A 2026 customer said the company never called back about an electric pool heater and then sent the same $159.53 bill three times for a visit where no service was done. In a 2023 review, a customer said the liner installation left wrinkles all over the sides and bottom and that the company filed a lien on the property, which the customer called false. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0559872, held by Vernon Poolman, is active on the state registry. A Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 205101, held by Vernon Poolman of MA LLC, is expired on the state registry.

This company has no respect for property. Extremely rude owner. Building a pool on my neighbors property, destroyed my yard. Kept going deeper . The owner hardly showed up to see what he did or how his people reacted.
Vernon Poolman installed a new vinyl liner on our inground pool a number of years ago. They did it quickly (in one day), but they did not do it properly - at the shallow end, the entire vinyl floor was wrinkled. Also, each spring, when we opened the pool, one section of the liner would always pull out from underneath the white half-round coping at the top of the pool. We would call up Vernon Poolman and their technician would come and somehow pull back the liner back into place - this task they performed for free. However, after several years, the vinyl liner started to pull out from under the coping at one of the deep end corners. This spring (2026), the liner failed in that corner, so it had to be replaced. We got a different pool company to install the new liner. The other company took several days to install the new liner, but it was installed without any wrinkles. So maybe for other tasks Vernon Poolman is fine, but I would never recommend them for a vinyl liner replacement.
Vernon Poolman provided us with everything we needed for our very own pool. The staff was so helpful in educating us on what we needed and were looking for. This is the first pool our family has had and we are loving it this summer!
Had a great experience with Vernon Poolman from the start. We had a 16x32 vinyl liner pool with heater installed. We went with vinyl liner over fiberglass because we wanted a deeper deep end than fiberglass offered. I started planning last summer and Chris was with us every step. Chris was super responsive, patient, calm, and always returned any calls or messages promptly. I quoted multiple pool companies, and if you can even get someone to return your call, prices are all over the place - mostly crazy high. I felt most comfortable with Vernon Poolman and their prices are very reasonable. What’s great about Vernon Poolman is they handle everything. They have a contractor they work with for the electrical, fence, water delivery, and concrete patio. We had a great experience with each of these contractors. Everything was perfectly lined up to minimize delays moving from each step. 10/10 would use Vernon Poolman again.
They went out of their way to help look up and find the part I needed for my equipment! Always great service and prices
