View Contracting

View Contracting is a Boston-based general contractor built for bigger structural jobs — additions, ADUs, floor extensions, and whole-house remodels — rather than small repair calls, and it's licensed with an active Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration. Its eight reviews, all from 2025, describe a consistent range of substantial projects: a two-floor extension, an accessory dwelling unit built over a two-car garage (priced better than competing quotes), a full addition completed on time, a whole-house remodel in Methuen with hands-on design input, and a three-story total renovation that included new kitchen cabinets and countertops. One customer remodeled an entire house to get it ready for a quick sale, calling the team knowledgeable and efficient. The Better Business Bureau gives it an A- rating, though its BBB file was only opened in December 2025 and it isn't yet BBB-accredited. Angi separately lists a self-reported trade license number for the company that Angi itself flags as unverified — worth confirming directly alongside the state-verified registration. For anyone in the Greater Boston area planning a real structural project — an addition, an ADU, or a full-house renovation — View Contracting's early record here, still building but consistently positive across a real range of scope, is worth a serious look.
