Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and Better Business Bureau gives it an A+. Price is the recurring hook. Customers who shopped five or six quotes through EnergySage and elsewhere repeatedly say Viridis came in the most competitive without cutting corners on equipment — 22-panel systems, battery add-ons, and in one case a system deliberately oversized in anticipation of a later heat-pump conversion. Several reviewers describe electric bills dropping to near zero once the system was live, and in a mid-2025 Reddit thread one poster called the company the area's runaway favorite among local installers. The recurring complaint, across several years of reviews, is what happens once the sale is made. A 2023 customer described a ten-month gap between signing and powering on the system, driven mostly by slow permitting; a 2025 reviewer said an inspection was scheduled without notice and unanswered questions piled up; another reviewer that same year described "zero project management" — no single point of contact tracking the job. A March 2026 review, after an otherwise satisfactory install, said the company was hard to reach by phone when trying to add more panels. On the installation side itself, the work is consistently described as clean and professional even when back-office communication lagged. Worth asking about directly: how the project will be staffed and who the single point of contact is, and what a realistic permitting-to-power-on timeline looks like given the spread in reviews — as short as about two months in one case, as long as ten in another. The company's own site separately names Wissem Taboubi as its master electrician and lists an Electrical Business registration, though that number hasn't been independently verified the way the home improvement registration has. For someone comparing solar quotes on price and equipment quality, Viridis is a documented value pick with a decade of self-reported experience behind it — worth pushing for a clear communication plan before signing, since that is where the experience has been least consistent.

My experience with Viridis Energy has been nothing short of amazing. I received five different quotes through EnergySage, and Viridis was one of the only companies that really stood out to me. I had a virtual meeting with Jereme, and he took the time to answer all of my questions and explain everything clearly. He told me that Viridis believes in educating people first and selling second, and that was exactly how the meeting felt. There was no pressure at all. My experience with some of the other solar companies was completely different. A few of them could not answer basic questions, and some of the information I was given did not seem honest or accurate. Viridis made me feel comfortable and gave me the information I needed to make the right decision. Communication has also been on point! It was clear that they cared more about helping me than simply making a sale. I would absolutely recommend Viridis Energy to anyone looking for an honest and trustworthy solar company. Knowledgeable guys who kept me informed at every stage. Contract to PTO took just a bit over 3 months. The salesperson, Jereme, was nice, the installers did an excellent and neat job, the staff overall were very responsive. I'm very happy with the work they did and how they did it. Perhaps, I would have loved to have it completed a bit faster, but most of the wasted time was not from them but from waiting for city to submit reports. Will gladly recommend Viridis to anyone in Mass looking for an excellent, responsive solar installer.
Great to work with. Highly professional; good communication throughout the entire installation process. From agreement signing to completed install to solar power generation, the process was apprx 2 months - pretty fast. Highly recommend the Viridis team!
From start to finish, This job went the way I wish all improvement projects went. Of all the vendors I contacted, only Viridis came up with a design and layout that matched my expectations. They specified the equipment I hoped for. Communications and documentation were both timely and thorough. The documentation was particularly high quality and complete. The installation team was knowledgeable, fast, efficient, and very pleasant to work with. There was never a moment when I wondered what's next. Great bunch of guys. This project greatly exceeded my expectations. I'd happily recommend Viridis to anyone without reservation! Here is a picture of my completed control and metering system in operation.
