BBB describes it as a single-employee limited liability company started in March 2022 and owned by Aleckssandro Pereira, listed under building contractors. Its directory listings advertise concrete work, excavation and foundations, general contracting and home additions, and claim 31 years of experience — a figure that sits oddly beside the March 2022 start date BBB gives for the company. The one detailed customer account dates from May 2023, and it is a hard one. That homeowner wrote that they paid a $9,000 deposit on a $14,000 contract for a garage floor, gravel driveway and deck; that crews worked five man-days in February, tore out the asphalt, concrete, stairs and sump pump, flooded the garage waiting for a removed sump pump, and never came back; and that after three straight weeks of promised dates with no show and no returned calls or texts, the deposit stayed unrefunded. Angi and HomeAdvisor both carry that review, and on both the entire star distribution sits at one star. BBB's grade is not a judgment of the workmanship but of the response: the bureau rates the company D- specifically for failing to answer four complaints filed against it, and lists it as not accredited. One thing a Massachusetts homeowner should know before calling: BBB reports the company's own statement that although it has a Massachusetts address, it works only in Rhode Island. There is not much here to describe how VMT handles a typical job — one long account that ends badly, and four complaints the company never answered.
