VMT Contractor

VMT Contractor is a Woburn concrete and general contracting LLC that, per its BBB profile, has been in business since March 2022, is owned by Aleckssandro Pereira, and says it works only in Rhode Island. BBB lists a Rhode Island contractor registration, GC-47333, and rates the company D- for failure to respond to complaints. In October 2024, local news outlets reported on an OSHA case against Aleckssandro Tomaz Pereira of Woburn, who OSHA said operated as Boston Concrete Corp LLC, VMT Contractor LLC and Boston Concrete and Remodeling LLC. A Fall River Reporter article says OSHA found the employer "exposed employees to cave-in, caught-between" …, and WCVB reported that a worker named Faria was working for Pereira. The one customer review, on Angi in 2023, describes a job to install a new concrete floor in the garage and a gravel driveway and build a deck. The customer says they paid a $9k deposit on a $14K contract; the crew removed asphalt and concrete in the garage, removed the stairs and the existing sump pump, which flooded the garage, then said they had to wait for the water to dry up and never came back. The customer describes a pile of old steps and dirt left behind, a lawn dug up when the truck got stuck, a promised visit on March 29 that was a no show, and a request for $7K back that was answered no.
