We were introduced to Volpato Construction as part of a larger construction project from our general contractor. They performed all of the structural and finish carpentry and were absolutely fantastic. Edwardo and Fernando Volpato along with their crew went above and beyond to make sure the work was done right. They were proactive in asking questions and ensuring everything was done right from the get-go. We had several architectural hiccups from our dormer addition but Ed's engineering background helped refocus last minute design changes to get the job done in a timely manner. They kept the job site clean (often from other subs too), were always on time and just a pleasure to work with. I couldn't recommend them more.

A leak in the flat, rubber roof that covers around 3/4 of my house lead to a new roof being installed. When the existing rubber was removed it revealed several areas that had been badly damaged by years of undetected water seepage…including the almost total disintegration of the major structure supporting the back corners. Volpato Construction was brought in to further investigate the extent of the damage and devise a plan to make the repairs. After removing the shingles and water soaked sheathing, it was clear that columns and beams were completely destroyed. Eduardo and his crew very carefully cut away the damaged wood while building temporary supports to maintain the structural integrity of the house. During this two week process, each day a new issue was uncovered. As the extent of the damage became more apparent, Eduardo confidently worked to rebuild everything as smoothly as possible. The crew would arrive early and work late and were very diligent and professional. Everyday they would pack up their equipment and leave the site neat and orderly. All areas open to the elements would be closed up and secured. Over one weekend a potential hurricane was expected to pass the area so extra supports were put up to reinforce the roof. While they were here, they inspected all around the house and replaced any shingles or window frames that were showing signs of damage. When the project was finished the yard was cleaned up and left without a trace of construction debris. Thanks to Eduardo and the crew of Volpato we have the peace of mind knowing our home is safe and secure.

Eduardo and his team are top notch. They rebuilt our deck (including new footings) and then re-sided our entire house in Medford (with several layers of old siding to pull off). They started early in the morning and went all day -- they are super hard workers, but are also so attentive to detail. They were also just super nice people, too -- always answering our questions, asking appropriate follow up, etc. Truly, they are an ideal company and we'll use them whenever we can.
