We can't say enough good things about Wayside Kitchens. From our first consultation to the final walkthrough, Mary and Jim were a pleasure to work with. They took our vision for our kitchen and mudroom and brought it to life, exceeding our expectations. The project was handled with professionalism and care, and they kept us informed every step of the way. If you're planning a remodel, you need to call Wayside Kitchens!
Let me first say, we could not be happier with our new, transformational kitchen, we absolutely love it. It was not cheap but a lot of that is on us for what we wanted. Let's get the price out of the way, not going to say how much it was, but it was considerably more than we thought we were going to spend. We contemplated not doing it at all, to scaling back, etc. In the end, I asked my wife, if we scale things back or leave things out, are you going to really get what you want. When the answer was no, the path was clear. Working with Mary and her husband, and team, was great. It was a process, in that there were a LOT of decisions to be made and things would need to be decided upon, or potentially changed daily. I think that's the nature of a major kitchen renovation. Fortunately, I work from home and was available every day to oversee the progress, and make spot decisions as needed, and that happened a lot. Mary was great to work with, very flexible, while driving towards an overall design goal with a 32 year more modern kitchen, We removed a wall, widened another - basically transformed a 1990s dark closed off kitchen into a 2025 modern (but timeless classic) kitchen that will serve us until we leave the house! Mary had said 4 to 6 months, and we came in at about 4 months. It was a long process, but well worth it. I am super happy with Mary and her husband Jim - the nicest people around to work with on a kitchen. We love our kitchen - it costed more than we though the would spend, but in the end, we got exactly what we wanted, and it was worth it. Would not hesitate to recommend working with Mary and her team at Wayside Kitchens, and hope to use them again in the future for other projects in the house.
Mary and Jim helped us completely redo our master bedroom and were wonderful to work with every step of the way.
We just love, love, love our new kitchen and downstairs remodel. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mary, Jackie and Jim. Mary's team of contractors were also terrific, they did an outstanding job on every aspect of the remodel. We wake up every morning and still can't believe this is our new home! Thanks Team Wayside Kitchens, for making this one of the best decisions we could make!
We had a wonderful experience with Mary, Jim, and Jackie at Wayside Kitchen. Mary is a passionate designer and a highly-efficient project manager. She set clear expectations about timeline and cost, worked with us closely in choosing materials. Jim is a super talented carpenter and ensures the cabinetry is well installed. He solves any big or small problem with a smile! They scheduled the contractors who are all excellent at their crafts. Mary and Jim are a true pleasure to work with. We highly recommend them for any kitchen remodeling project.
