Homestead Kitchens does one room. The Littleton shop draws the kitchen, builds the cabinetry — custom and semi-custom — and sends its own carpenters to install it. A 2008 piece in a local paper described Kevin Connolly turning twenty years of general contracting toward kitchens, from pulling out old cabinets to putting in new floors, appliances and cabinetry, and moving the business from King Street to Taylor Street with his wife Kate, an interior designer. Maryanne comes up by name in reviews from December 2025 and March 2026. The December customer, who shopped around first, called her patient and efficient, said they hadn't realized how much there was to learn about kitchen cabinets, and called the price fair. The March 2026 reviewer credited her as a resource through the design process, Kevin for a network of subcontractors and vendors, and Sully for work that met the goals of the design. The calendar comes up as often as the design. A July 2025 reviewer said the crew was super clean, that they felt comfortable with everyone in the house day to day, and — "most importantly" — that the job finished on time as promised. An April 2025 reviewer described a remodel that was planned out and then went to plan, with punctual crews and clear communication, and an April 2025 review credited design ideas brought to the table at the first consultation. A September 2024 reviewer, describing past large projects that "never finished on time and came in over-budget", wrote that this was the norm until Homestead Kitchens. Houzz shows 5.0 stars across 102 ratings and 115 projects; Google shows 4.8 across 6. Houzz also lists 13 awards, three badges, Signature Custom Cabinetry's "Exactitude" award in most years from 2005 through 2020, a construction supervisor licence CSL 058403 and Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration 108340. In a 2018 design feature, MaryAnne Reynolds showed a traditional kitchen where a wall between the dining room and a sun porch came out and three rooms were combined. If what you want is a kitchen designed around cabinetry built to fit it, this is that kind of shop. The company's own description of the construction side is light kitchen remodeling, so if your plan moves walls, plumbing or electrical, settle at the first meeting which parts Kevin's subcontractors take on and which you would be hiring yourself.

We really shopped around before landing here—and I’m so glad we did. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous, and Maryanne is a true genius at what she does. Who knew there was so much to learn about kitchen cabinets? She was patient, incredibly skilled and efficient. Price was fair and overall result far exceeded our expectations. The cabinets were ultimately chose were made in the USA: no tariffs, beautifully constructed, delivered on time, well-made, and competitively priced. We looked at lower-priced options and others that were twice the cost, and I honestly can’t imagine any of them turning out nicer than what we received. Absolutely recommend without hesitation.
The team did an amazing job helping us pick out all the details. The construction process was very easy. We felt comfortable with everyone who helped in our house day to day. They were super clean. And most importantly they finished on time as promised!

The team helped us with all the planning and the actual project went to plan perfectly. The work was of an excellent standard and very tidy during the process. We trusted them completely, and left the house for four weeks during the project. We enjoyed working with the team and give them the highest possible rating.
