Homestead Kitchens works out of a farmhouse-style showroom on Taylor Street in Littleton, designing and building custom cabinetry for kitchens and other rooms, with on-staff carpenters handling installation. The company's own site describes itself as offering start-to-finish custom cabinetry plus what it calls light kitchen remodeling — real design-through-installation work, not full gut renovations. A 2008 local news article described founder Kevin Connolly bringing 20 years as a general contractor to a kitchen-focused shop, moving the business's showroom into a Victorian house on Taylor Street to display finished kitchens room by room. The thing that comes up again and again, across both Google and Houzz, is the pairing of designer Maryanne Reynolds and project lead Kevin Connolly: Reynolds gets credited for patience and skill working through cabinet and layout choices, while Connolly is described as running a network of subcontractors that keeps projects on schedule. One recent review calls out a completed remodel as "professional, always punctual and excellent with communication," and a 2018 feature credited Reynolds by name for reworking a traditional kitchen by removing a wall to combine a dining room and sun porch into one space. Houzz shows a 5.0-star average across 102 reviews and 115 completed projects, and Google adds 4.8 from a smaller pool — no negative account shows up on either. The company has also picked up Signature Custom Cabinetry's "Exactitude" award in most years from 2005 through 2020, plus a Houzz "Rave Reviews" honor in 2016. Houzz lists a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL:058403) and Home Improvement Contractor registration (HIC:108340) for the company — that's the directory's own listing, not something verified against the state registry here, so it's worth confirming directly if licensing status matters for the project. For a kitchen that needs real design work — picking cabinets, working out a layout, coordinating the trades that go with it — this is a shop with a deep, consistently positive record to point to. Given the showroom-based process, booking a design consultation early is the natural next step, since how the two principals run a project together is central to what reviewers describe.

“In this traditional kitchen from MaryAnne Reynolds of Homestead Kitchens of Littleton, Massachusetts, The flow with the surrounding rooms was incredibly important, and by removing a wall between the existing dining room and an existing sun porch, three rooms were combined into one for the new kitchen.”
“After 20 years as a general contractor, Kevin Connolly is focusing his skills on kitchens, from removal of old cabinets to installation of new floors, appliances and cabinetry. He and his interior designer wife, Kate, moved their business from King to Taylor Street to showcase the various kitchen plans in actual house settings.”

We really shopped around before landing here—and I’m so glad we did. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous, and Maryanne is a true genius at what she does. Who knew there was so much to learn about kitchen cabinets? She was patient, incredibly skilled and efficient. Price was fair and overall result far exceeded our expectations. The cabinets were ultimately chose were made in the USA: no tariffs, beautifully constructed, delivered on time, well-made, and competitively priced. We looked at lower-priced options and others that were twice the cost, and I honestly can’t imagine any of them turning out nicer than what we received. Absolutely recommend without hesitation.

The team did an amazing job helping us pick out all the details. The construction process was very easy. We felt comfortable with everyone who helped in our house day to day. They were super clean. And most importantly they finished on time as promised!
