Western Floors is a family-run flooring outfit based in Western Massachusetts, working across the Pioneer Valley and into the Berkshires — Westfield, Longmeadow, Amherst, Northampton and towns as far as Great Barrington. The company describes itself as a tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl and carpet installer offering free in-home estimates. The name that comes up again and again in its reviews is Florin, who leads the crew on most of the jobs customers describe. Across 41 reviews collected on Google, HomeAdvisor and Angi since 2022, the story is remarkably consistent: precise tile work, clean job sites, and a crew that stays late to finish a job right. One reviewer described a mudroom tile repair paired with a new kitchen tile wall; another had an entire floor pulled up and replaced while the sub-floor, cabinets and plumbing were preserved; a third needed a church bathroom retiled where decades-old adhesive had turned to a gummy mess. Across those jobs, the write-ups single out the same things — careful, detailed work and follow-through. The two most recent reviews, from March and April 2026, keep the same tone: a custom shower one customer called old-world craftsmanship, and a quick booking followed by attentive on-site work. BBB gives the company an A+ rating as an accredited business, and its listing also names a Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs & Business Regulations license number for the company — that's BBB's own record of it, not an independent registry check. There isn't much to flag here. No reviewer describes a bad outcome, a no-show, or a dispute. The one review that reads differently is from a homeowner who was subcontracted to Western Floors through a larger flooring company and wished they'd hired them directly — a comment on how they were found, not on the work itself. For anyone weighing a tile, hardwood or vinyl flooring project in the Pioneer Valley or Berkshires, this is a shop whose reputation rests almost entirely on the floor and tile work itself — worth confirming current lead times and whether Florin's crew will be the one on site, since that's who reviewers credit most.
Western flooring built a new custom shower for us. They did a great job. It looks beautiful. Their workmanship was meticulous—kind of like old world craftsmen! They were also very easy to deal with—friendly and always responsive. I recommend them highly.
Western Floors booked me in quickly and did great work. The worker onsite paid close attention to detail and answered all questions all of my questions. Western Floors has my recommendation.
Florin and his team were the best! They recently installed LVP floors throughout our home. They were wonderful in cleaning up at the end of each day. They are very customer focused and knowledgeable in their trade. I’d highly recommend them for any future flooring project.
We had Western Floors install a tile shower and radiant heat tile floor as part of a bathroom renovation. They also repaired an existing tile floor in our mudroom and installed a tile wall in our kitchen. They were a pleasure to work with — communicated and collaborated with us and made sure that everything was done the way we wanted. We’re delighted with the work they did and would recommend them without reservation.
Western Floors installed wood and tile flooring in my condo. They were very professional, easy to work with, and did a great job on the floors. Highly recommended!
