Across 56 reviews on Google, Houzz, Angi and HomeAdvisor going back to 2019, homeowners describe the same architect drawing their plans and the same team building them. The work people describe is the kind that needs drawings first. In July 2026 a homeowner went to them to add onto a small 1960s house that needed storage, a second bathroom and better curb appeal. A December 2025 reviewer built a room above their garage and said Jamaal walked them through the design step by step, answering every question along the way. In September 2024 another had an expanded master bath, closet, upstairs laundry and a one-bedroom ADU designed, called Jamaal “the only architect who really listened to what we wanted/needed,” and credited him with ushering the project through a very complicated town approval process. In October 2023 a customer had a vacation-home pool house designed; in July 2023, a Waltham barbershop.
Schedule and budget come up as often as design does. A February 2023 reviewer had two full bathrooms rebuilt while the family — four people and two high-anxiety dogs — stayed in the house on a temporary shower, and summed the job up in four words: “On time, on budget.” A November 2022 renovation and addition covered a kitchen, half bath, mudroom, primary suite and the exterior while the owners lived and worked at home throughout it. A December 2025 customer wrote that communication was clear from the beginning and the crew was professional, friendly and respectful.
The one recurring complaint has nothing to do with the finished work. Two one-star reviews, from December 2025 and May 2026, are both about how the company truck is driven — one warns to “beware of reckless driving while in their company truck,” the other describes being cut off on the Mass Pike. Both are recent, and neither reviewer says anything against the design or the build.
