A J Walsh & Sons has been putting in replacement windows and siding from North Andover since 1972 — 54 years, by the count on its BBB page, incorporated in Massachusetts in 1980 and listed there as a one-employee company with Arthur Walsh as president. On Google it carries 4.1 stars from eight ratings. A fit for a homeowner who wants a small, long-established shop for a window or siding replacement rather than a large exterior crew. Before hiring, get the scope in writing — how many windows or how much siding, which materials, and how trim and flashing are handled — and confirm the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration and proof of insurance.
