Aaron Pools & Spas works out of Dartmouth on Massachusetts' South Coast, and the jobs its customers describe fall into three buckets: building in-ground and above-ground pools, replacing vinyl liners, and keeping existing pools and hot tubs running. Owner Paul is named directly in most reviews, and one long-time customer says he is usually in the store and willing to talk to you himself. Liner replacement is the work that comes up most, and the pattern is consistent: crews arrive, drain, strip the old liner, repair the base and refill, all in one day. A 2022 customer described a three-person team replacing a 20-plus-year-old liner after a July 4th tear, lights, drains, skimmers and inlets included, in a single day. A 2026 customer who had an above-ground wall and liner replaced said the crew hooked the pool equipment back up afterward without being asked. New builds draw the same kind of detail. A 2021 reviewer said the build started on a Monday and the kids were swimming by Saturday. A 2025 customer finishing an in-ground project said the company coordinated with the engineer and their own electrician and kept the job moving, and another 2025 review describes a saltwater in-ground pool followed by a paver patio. There is a real service book behind the installs, not just construction. A 2025 reviewer had technicians open an in-ground pool, secure the fittings, bring the salt generator up to speed and add chemicals; a 2023 customer says the company opens and closes their pool every season; and two customers reached the company through a home warranty for pool filter problems, one of them back up and running inside 24 hours. In-store water testing turns up in reviews as well. The complaints cluster on the retail counter rather than the work. A 2022 customer said a 32-ounce bottle of algaecide cost $44 against a $26 to $28 local average and that unopened chemicals could not be returned; a 2023 four-star reviewer made the same pricing point more mildly, and a 2021 one-star review said only "Expensive." A 2023 swim spa owner posted a detailed six-month report on a Hydropool Aquasport 14AX: easy to use and the roller cover worth it, but surfaces that scratch easily, cabinet materials that warped, and a "self cleaning" description that still needed a pool vacuum. A 2024 one-star reviewer cited management and staff training without further detail. For a liner, a new pool, or seasonal opening and closing service on the South Coast, the history here is deep and current. Ask for chemical pricing up front if you plan to buy supplies over the counter, get the return policy in writing, and if a swim spa is on the table, ask exactly what "self cleaning" covers.
Had an above ground pool outer wall and liner replaced bye Aaron's and the replacement went very well. The crew was fast and efficient and went above and beyond cleaning up after and exceeded my expectations bye hooking up my pool equipment after they were done which they did not have to do. Pool looks great and crew was exceptional.
We have been loyal customers of Aaron Pools since 2016 and have always been satisfied, but our recent experience was truly beyond phenomenal. We had a new liner installed, and from start to finish the team was exceptional. The installers were professional, kind, and courteous the entire time they were at our home. They took the extra time to walk us through every step of the process, explaining what they were doing and why, and answering all of our questions patiently. It’s clear they really care about their work and their customers. I also want to highlight the owner, Paul, who went the extra mile for us as well. His involvement, attention to detail, and genuine concern that everything was perfect truly stood out. You don’t often see that level of commitment from an owner, and it meant a lot to us. Aaron Pools has always been great, but this experience took it to another level. We couldn’t be happier with the result and the service we received. Highly recommend Aaron Pools to anyone looking for a company that goes above and beyond. Christine & Chris Bartel
They were very professional from beginning to end. They arrived on a date that we committed to, put the hot tub exactly where I wanted it .Following up with a person that’s coming to show us all the features of the hot tub itself. We even brought down a sample of the water to make sure we were given the right chemicals to use. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a hot tub. Could not be happier!
From the time we first went in to meet with Paul through our pool installation, he was first class all the way. He and his team were always responsive, attentive and did everything possible to answer our many, many questions. It was important to them to ensure that we were well-informed and fully comfortable with our decisions and the overall process. Repeatedly Paul, and our field crew of Mickey, Al & Josh, went above and beyond. They educated us on the work being done and never left for the day without making sure we were fully satisfied with that day's work; while also informing us about what to expect the next day. In addition, the timeline the provided us once the work began was followed to a T. All the dates they gave us in regard to digging, wall framing, liner installation, water delivery, and yard leveling were all completed on time. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing. We couldn't be happier with our experience at Aaron's and highly recommend Paul and his team!
As a first-time pool owner the staff a Aaron pools were top notch. I watched as they worked on replacing my liner. They took great care doing the job. they even saved the tadpoles that were in the pool. They did it all in one day ahead of schedule. I am very happy with the Quality and service.
