One customer's dryer died on a Saturday, and Alex "came out same day, earlier than estimated" (Feb 2026); another called on a weekend and had Dimitri diagnose, order, and fix a washer within 24 hours (May 2026). Reviewers repeatedly name specific technicians — Alex, Dimitri, Alan, Eugene, Andrew — and describe them explaining what broke and why before fixing it. That said, the record isn't uniformly clean. A handful of reviewers describe real pricing friction: in a June 2026 review, one customer says ABV quoted $2,800 for a repair whose parts, they found, retailed for about $30, and had another company finish the job for $538 total, calling the first quote a scam. In a September 2025 review, another customer describes a $95 diagnostic fee followed by a $500 quote for what they call a simple dryer timer replacement.
