In 2021 a trade magazine wrote up ADEP Group cutting a concrete swimming pool out of the basement of a 120-year-old YMCA in Beverly, Massachusetts — a job it did with a remote-controlled Brokk 200 so it could run a smaller crew in the confined space, finishing 25% under budget with reported productivity half again better than the alternatives. That is a fair picture of what this Dracut company is: a demolition and environmental remediation contractor built for the awkward jobs. Its trade is abatement first. The company says it started in environmental services and grew into demolition, and it handles asbestos, lead, PCBs, silica, mold and guano, alongside building takedowns, selective interior demolition, sawcutting, sandblasting and plant decommissioning. It runs its own equipment and operators out of Dracut and a second office in Salem, New Hampshire. Its BBB profile is A+ and accredited since January 2019, with no complaints published, and BBB records the business as incorporated in September 2013 under president Kelvin Severino. Its own Procore profile lists it as a Minority Business Enterprise. Two things to weigh. Its written customer record is thin and oddly bunched: the Google profile averages 4.9 across fourteen ratings, but all five comments were posted on a single day, 15 May 2025, and none says more than that this is the best demolition company in the area. And BBB's own description says the business provides services to commercial customers, while its Procore profile does list residential among its market sectors — so if the job is a house, ask directly whether they take it. For an abatement or knock-down job with a real complication — a tight basement, hazardous material, a structure that has to come down around something that stays — this is a serious outfit. Ask for two recent jobs of your type and confirm the scope in writing before work starts.
