The Better Business Bureau lists a New Hampshire asbestos-removal license, C-131, for the company, though that listing hasn't been independently verified. There's essentially no customer record to go on — just a single 3-star Google rating and no review text. What's on file instead is a federal case: in January 2016, the U.S. Attorney's office in Boston indicted the Thompsons and both of their companies on charges including mail fraud, filing false reports, and embezzlement of a union benefit fund, in what was reported as a roughly $2 million fraud case; a related civil suit was also filed by the Massachusetts Laborers' Benefit Funds around the same time. In May 2017, though, the U.S. District Court dismissed all criminal charges against the company, and the charges against the Thompsons were dropped as well at the request of the acting U.S. Attorney. With no customer reviews to weigh and a serious but ultimately dismissed federal case as the only substantial public record, there's little here to judge day-to-day service quality on. Anyone considering asbestos work with this company should ask directly about current licensing, insurance, and recent references rather than relying on this record alone.
