The customer said another company had recommended replacement, prompting a second opinion from Air Rite. In the same review, they also recalled emailing about an AC problem in the evening and having a technician at the house early the following afternoon while guests were visiting for a reunion. Air Rite is a Hyannis heating and cooling contractor. Its website says it has served the community since 2013 and works across Cape Cod, offering installation, repair and maintenance of air conditioning, heating, ductless mini-splits, heat pumps and indoor air quality systems. The company advertises 24-hour emergency service for membership clients. Fabio Zocante's Massachusetts HVAC licence 8586-SM-M1 was verified active in September 2026. Google shows 5 stars from 60 ratings, and BBB gives the business an A+ grade. Communication gets specific praise. A May 2026 Google reviewer who worked with Brenda describes her as responsive and a clear communicator throughout the process. In a June 2025 review, a customer said the company scheduled them promptly, sent texts and emails about their technician and service, and followed up afterward. They said they then signed an annual maintenance contract. Another June 2025 reviewer said Felipe explained the work and showed them how to change filters. Larger installations appear in older accounts. In a May 2024 review, a homeowner described replacing an oil system with a two-zone heat pump system and a basement mini-split. They said the crew worked in the house for three to four weeks, addressed project hiccups immediately and helped process a Mass Save rebate afterward. A July 2024 customer also praised help with a rebate and said operations manager Victor answered their questions and demonstrated the equipment after completion. Routine maintenance has its own customer accounts: a May 2025 reviewer praised thorough mini-split servicing. In an August 2024 review, a customer described five years of HVAC maintenance and improvements, including a garage mini-split and new ductwork.
