Warrendale Appliance is an appliance store in Waltham that sells, delivers and installs washers, fridges, dishwashers and air conditioners. A 2023 Reddit commenter in r/Waltham wrote that they had gotten almost all of their stuff through the store on High St, and that it did repairs. A recent customer swapped a broken 12-year-old dishwasher for a replacement they called correctly installed and reasonably priced. A customer who bought a Whirlpool four-door fridge said it was set up on delivery, with the waterline for the ice maker connected. When one customer's washing machine broke down, they went in on a Thursday morning looking for a Speed Queen top loader and had it delivered early the next afternoon, as promised. A customer who bought during the Memorial Day sale said the store held everything until their contractor was ready, and that Cody was helpful through the whole process. A customer whose refrigerator would not fit said the refund took a week and came back minus a $340.58 restocking and delivery fee, which the store said was "clearly in our contract." A customer whose Bosch Benchmark dishwasher stopped working two months after purchase said they tried for two weeks to get a service tech, then ordered parts and fixed it themselves. A 2025 customer said the delivery men spilled water down the stairs while carrying out the old fridge and refused to clean it up. A 2025 customer said the hose on a newly installed washing machine leaked for four weeks before it was noticed. A 2024 customer wrote that delivery left 3-foot gouges in their floor, and a 2024 customer said they paid $530 for an air conditioner whose list price they later found was $379.
“as soon as I walked in an employee hit me with a "Can I help you?" with such a tone of "what the fuck are you doing in here" that I just immediately left.”
“Warrendale Appliance for sure, but the old vacuum repair place was legit.”
“Generally I assume it is Best Buy, home depot, costco or a local store like Warrendale”
“Warrendale appliance in Waltham. Allan the owner is the slimiest salesman I’ve ever dealt with.”
“I’ve gotten almost all of my stuff through Warrendale Appliance on High St. They’re very knowledgeable, and easy going. They do repairs, and according to the website work on most major brands.”
“Warrendale combines locally owned charm with national inventory. You’ll find all of the big names here, from Bosch to Viking to Miele, but the showroom’s robust rebate program—not to mention deep clearance discounts on top-of-the-line items keeps costs within budget.”
The end-to-end experience proceeded without a hitch. We quickly transitioned from a broken 12 year old dishwasher, to a correctly installed and reasonably priced replacement.
All a good experience
Prompt, No nonsense service
Friendly, knowledgeable associates. Cody was exceptionally helpful before and during installation. I’ll always be a repeat happy customer.
Everything was perfect.
