All Chores Considered is a Norwood-area concierge outfit — the kind of business you call for cleaning, small repairs, yard work, or a hand with an aging parent, all under one number. The company says founder Kandi Finch started it in October 2013 after juggling care for two elderly parents alongside a full-time career, and it states it covers Norwood, Quincy and Westwood. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and the reviews on file don't paint a single clear picture. A 2024 review called the company quick to respond and professional. But two 1-star reviews tell a rougher story: in a 2026 review, a customer said the cleaner skipped the toilet entirely and used offensive language with no apology when it was raised; in a 2023 review, a customer described a bathroom remodel where the crew used the wrong thickness of cement board, leaving gaps at the ceiling and unpatched holes, with follow-up from the owner stalling for weeks. Before booking, it's worth pinning down who's actually doing the work and getting a clear scope in writing for anything beyond routine chores — the complaints on file are specific to a cleaning visit and a bathroom job, not vague dissatisfaction. For simple, recurring help around the house — a cleaning schedule, yard work, errands — the company's own pitch matches what it's actually reviewed for. For a real remodel, get more than one estimate, confirm materials in writing, and nail down a point of contact before signing on.
I had to call them a billion of times before I got a call back. When the lady got here, she didn't do a good job at cleaning leaving cleaner left over my toilet. She didn't clean my toilet at all I had to go and mop and clean up after her for my inspection. She also used a an extremely offensive word and didn't even apologize. But by that time I already paid for the service. I told her about it and she ignored the situation which is the worst thing you can do because I was willing to just let it go with an apology. But I guess I'm going to have to call up my Dad
Quick to respond, very professional, they go above and beyond to help!
I can't even begin to explain how disappointed I am with the job that was completed. This company came recommended by a friend so I trusted a good job would be done. Man, was I WRONG! My bathroom is being remodeled. They used the incorrect thickness of cement board in the shower area. the ceiling does not meet the wall, leaving a huge gap. The hole in the catching for the light is so big that it needs patching. The floor does not meet the threshold and there are holes in the cement board. I contacted the owner Kandi who assured me that the worker would get in touch with me but 2 weeks later...nothing. EVEN MORE...some of the construction debris (which I paid for removal) was left behind. it is pathetic that a company has such low standards.
