American Fuel Oil is a South Shore heating-and-cooling provider that says it handles home heating-oil delivery, diesel fueling, heating-system service and installation, air-conditioning work, and 24-hour emergency calls across towns including Milton and Weymouth. Its website emphasizes year-round maintenance, equipment tune-ups, and both ductless mini-splits and central air. Three Google reviewers, writing in 2022 and 2023, described prompt help, competitive pricing, an oil-tank replacement, and a residential AC repair. One homeowner highlighted the technician’s explanation of the problem and maintenance guidance; another praised the company’s work to make an expensive tank replacement more manageable. Google displays 3.9 stars from 11 ratings, while the written reviews available here are older than six months. The strongest fit is a South Shore homeowner looking for heating-oil delivery or HVAC service, especially an urgent no-heat response. Before booking, confirm current pricing, the exact equipment scope, and appointment availability; the company’s site says emergency technicians are available around the clock.
The customer service and timeliness is incredible. This company worked with me on an expensive oil tank replacement and making the cost as effective for my family as possible. I cannot speak highly enough about the kindness here.
I have used American fuel for years They are great prompt courteous helpful prices are competitive wouldn't use anyone else
David from American Fuel came out for my residential AC which had stopped turning on. David was fantastic. He was there promptly at my appointment time and got right to work. When he found the problem he was great at explaining to me what the issue was in a way that I understood not having any idea what I was doing. He also was kind enough to to take the time and show me different things I could do to help make my AC unit last as long as possible. Would absolutely recommend him.
