ANPoint Exteriors

ANPoint Exteriors is a West Barnstable outfit whose specialty shows up review after review: cedar. Alex and his crew keep getting hired for the material other roofers treat as an afterthought — white cedar sidewall shingles and a yellow cedar roof on a new-build summer house, a full red cedar roof and white cedar sidewall replacement in Chatham, custom wood roofing reviewers call unmatched in the trade. The family-owned company says it has been at this about ten years, working Cape Cod towns from Bourne to Brewster and into the South Shore, doing roofing, siding, and exterior carpentry — decks, windows, doors. The volume and consistency of the record stand out: 33 Google ratings averaging 5 stars, and the 30 written reviews on file from the first half of 2026 don't have a single negative one among them. What repeats is specificity, not just praise — a roof replaced in two days with the crew working until 8 p.m. to finish it right, a deck extension paired with a new EPDM rubber roof prepped for future skylights, an old wood deck swapped for AZEK TimberTech composite decking and railing, copper work on a new-construction roof, fiber cement siding installed with matching trim. One reviewer described the crew showing up and working through a subzero snowstorm rather than pushing the job back. After a tree came down on a roof during a severe storm, the repair was handled quickly and professionally. Pricing and communication come up unprompted, too: one Mashpee customer credited Alex with staying responsive to calls and texts throughout and called the price fair; another separately noted a fair price with no surprises. A local homebuilder describes working with Alex's team for years and sums it up in one word: professionals. There's nothing negative in the written record to flag going in. For cedar roofing or sidewall work specifically — the kind of job that punishes bad technique — the specificity and consistency here make ANPoint a strong call on Cape Cod; for general roofing, siding, decks, and exterior carpentry more broadly, the same crew shows up doing quality, well-communicated work across a wide range of Cape towns.
