Aquila Heating & Cooling holds 4.8 stars from 201 Google ratings for heating and air conditioning work. In a Connecticut Reddit thread, a commenter called the company knowledgeable on heat pumps and said it did their conversion a few years ago. One recent customer had LG units installed by another company, with one unit giving constant trouble and a second that failed. That customer said the office got someone out within 24 hours, Lee and his boss brought the LG rep and the supplier to the house within a few days, and the part was installed, restoring a/c in the bedroom after 12 months without it. A different customer said Lee fixed a problem with one A/C unit, explained the issue, and tested the working unit too. For an annual service visit, a customer said Emilio checked everything thoroughly. A customer wrote that their daughter's central air was installed in a colonial cape house after other companies were cost prohibitive or said AC was not possible there. A 2026 customer said Aquila removed an old oil system and radiator and installed a new heat pump and instant hot water. A 2024 customer said Lee diagnosed and fixed a furnace that stopped working on a 19-degree morning. A 2024 customer with a leaking water heater said a new tank was installed in less than 24 hours. A recent customer who booked a thermostat reconnect said the first technician could not reach the wire in the attic, a second was called, and the bill included the extra hour and holiday time; that customer also said the thermostat was left on schedule mode and the return visit was charged. A 2023 customer said a heat pump system was not commissioned properly and they paid another company an additional $1,200 to add refrigerant and replace controllers. It holds an active Connecticut S1 heating and cooling contractor licence, HTG.0390617-S1, under Aquila Heating & Cooling LLC.
“Second Aquila. They did mine last year.”
“Aquila heating and cooling is very knowledgeable on heatpumps. They did my conversion a few years ago. Would recommend.”

Reliable, Excellent Service, Competitive Price 👍👍👍👍👍
Very pleased with the service provided by Aquila. I previously had LG units installed by another company that I used for years but was having constant trouble with one particular unit and then a second unit failed. The original company completely ignored repeated service calls which literally went on for months. I called Aquila after trying several other companies who did not want to work on LG units. Ally in the office listened to my long story and within 24 hrs got someone to come out to have a look. Lee was thorough in trying to help figure out the issue that the original company seemed to have trouble with (blaming LG for not being responsive). Lee and his boss located the proper people and within a few days I had the LG rep along with the supplier at my house. They worked together to discover the issue, ordered the part and it was installed today! We finally have a/c in the bedroom after being without for 12 months! Even though Aquila doesn’t use LG they worked at making this happen and I am so happy with everyone involved. Highly recommend.
Chris the tech was very knowledgeable and courteous diagnosing the problem.
Our daughter had her system installed when almost all other companies were completely cost prohibitive or told her that it was not possible for the AC to work in her colonial cape house. I believe the owner is an electrical engineer and totally figured out how central air conditioning could work in her house… She was over the moon. They replaced our old system, Great work…and I have recommended them to several people.
