The name says drywall, and that is what customers keep hiring AR Drywall & Renovations for — hanging and finishing board, plaster, and the invisible patch after somebody else cut a hole in a ceiling. One recent customer had a wall and ceiling repaired and got a fix for what caused the damage in the first place, not just a skim coat over it. The company is owner-run by Alex Rosado, who its site says is on every job, and it claims over 20 years of hands-on experience serving Middlesex County, the North Shore, Boston, MetroWest and southern New Hampshire. Beyond drywall and plaster, the stated service list runs long: framing and metal studs, finish carpentry, flooring, insulation, tiling, painting, decks and porches, water and storm damage restoration, and full remodels. What recent reviewers actually praise is the front end of the job. One described a reply to an initial inquiry within the hour, a thorough walkthrough, an estimate sheet detailed enough to understand line by line, and work that finished a full day ahead of schedule with the site kept clean. Another commercial client — a marine business — described flexible, efficient work and plans to hire again. Across sixteen Google ratings the average is five stars. Two things to weigh. The review record is short: it starts in mid-2025, runs to a dozen written accounts, and every single one is five stars with no dissent anywhere — a clean sheet, but not yet a long one. And the home improvement contractor registration number the site publishes (HIC 220447) is the company's own claim; ask for it and check it against the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs registry yourself, along with the certificate of insurance. If your job is drywall, plaster, or a repair that has to disappear into an existing wall, this is a well-reviewed owner-operator with a documented habit of quick quotes and clean finishes. For a large multi-trade remodel, ask for references on a project of that size specifically — the reviews are dense on repairs and finishes, thinner on big builds.

Alex is easy to communicate with, very responsive and friendly. He finished the job promptly and was very neat. He did some repair on our drywall and helped to come up with a solution to prevent future problems. You can trust him with your drywall needs!

Alex and Joe were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Alex responded to my initial inquiry within an hour, and we quickly scheduled a time for him to come assess the project. He was thorough during the walkthrough, and the estimate sheet was extremely detailed and easy to understand. Once we agreed on the scope, they were able to schedule the work within a very reasonable timeframe. Throughout the project, Alex and Joe were professional, respectful, and kept the work area very clean. Most impressively, they completed the job a full day ahead of schedule without compromising quality. Alex even offered to reduce the price because the work was finished earlier than expected, which speaks volumes about his honesty and integrity. The experience was so positive that Alex has already provided me with a quote for another project, and we will certainly be using him again in the near future. I would absolutely recommend Alex to anyone looking for quality work, professionalism, and fair pricing.
