Arrow Oil Inc is a heating oil company in Southwick; its website calls it a home heating fuel supplier that also offers 24 hour burner service and says it was founded in 1977. A recent Google reviewer says the company has listened to their requests and filled orders on time, and praised the crew and office staff. A 2024 Google reviewer wrote of timely delivery by courteous people. A 2017 Google reviewer praised the prices and the delivery service. A 2025 Google reviewer gave one star and wrote that Arrow Oil overfilled the oil tank at their home, that the driver was not there to hear the whistle, and that oil spilled outside the fill pipe and into the home, ruining some of their things and leaving an odor for numerous days. That 2025 reviewer said the company came out, claimed the tank was patched and that this was where the oil was coming from, and put down litter, but the odor was still in the home for Thanksgiving. The same 2025 reviewer wrote of emailing the company many times for assistance and said requests for someone to come out to do a thorough clean-up were ignored. That 2025 reviewer believed the overfilling caused the patched areas to blow out, and said the company told them the tank would have to be replaced; the estimate was 6,000.00. The 2025 reviewer also wrote that the bill was for more than the price the website showed on the day the oil was ordered. A 2026 Google reviewer gave one star and wrote: "Ran out of oil calling for emergency waiting two days that never came."

Ran out of oil calling for emergency waiting two days that never came
Arrow Oil delivered oil to my home and waaaay overfilled my oil tank. The driver was obviously not there to hear the whistle. The oil spilled outside of the fill pipe… but worse than that, it spilled into my home and ruined some of my things and left an odor that would not disperse for numerous days. The company came out and claimed that my tank was patched, and that’s where the oil was coming from. They put down litter and some stuff that supposedly made the odor not so bad. After all that, the odor was still in my home for Thanksgiving. I can’t tell you how many times I emailed the company for assistance, to no avail. They just ignored my requests for someone to come out to do a thorough clean-up . I thought, by law, they were supposed to come out to clean up their mess when there was an oil spill. In addition, I believe that their ineptness upon filling my tank caused the patched areas to “blow out” due to excessive pressure put on the tanks’s sides due to the overfilling. They told me I was going to have to get the oil tank replaced, and I should call for an estimate. I did, and the estimate was 6,000.00…For damage to my tank that was not my fault! ( by the way, I did not know the tank had been patched. I’ve been in the house since 1996 and had no clue that oil tanks ever got patched). Additionally, when I ordered the oil, the site said one particular price for the day I ordered the oil. When I received the bill, it was for more than what the site said.
