Old houses keep coming up in Arsenault Electric's reviews. In an August 2025 Google review, a family with a 110-year-old home on ungrounded knob and tube wiring and glass fuses said Phil Arsenault upgraded it while they had their first baby, working in pieces so everything was running at the end of each day and routing cable to keep dust and disruption down. Several 2023 reviewers describe similar knob and tube removals and quirky service upgrades in 100- and 120-year-old houses. The company's site says Phil Arsenault owns the business, which does residential electrical work across Metrowest and Central Massachusetts, including installations, upgrades, repairs, generators and EV charging, and claims 25 years in business. Google shows 4.9 stars from 103 ratings, and most reviews name Phil. Recent customers describe quick response. In December 2025, a customer who booked an 8am slot for the next day said Phil called back and came late that same afternoon to fix faulty outlet wiring. A June 2026 Northborough customer had recessed lighting and two chandeliers installed and an under-cabinet lighting issue fixed. In a February 2026 review, a customer said his pricing was fair based on multiple quotes. Larger jobs show up too: an August 2025 review describes a complete rewire of an office building during a gut renovation, with three subpanels and an underground service. A 2022 reviewer noted he is not the cheapest but said the work was done right the first time. The one negative review, from June 2024, complained about the driving of one of the company's work trucks in Worcester. The Massachusetts registry lists electrician licence #20759 as active, with Philip J Arsenault as the holder of record. BBB also lists licence number 50072.
