We called Ashley Fuel, based on a recommendation from our neighbor, to replace our old oil tank. We were very pleased and impressed from the point of our first contact to the install of our new oil tank and the quick delivery to fill the new tank. Everyone at Ashley was so very helpful in answering our many questions. There was always someone to answer your call in the office or return your call. Jack and Steve removed our old oil tank and installed a new Granby double oil tank. We thought this process would be so involved, time consuming and messy. But we were pleasantly surprised. Jack and Steve did a great job in the removal and install, so easy to talk to, answered all our questions, offered information and so very pleasant. The old tank was taken away and new one installed with no mess. it. We were very surprised and impressed on how clean they left the basement after all the work!! They did a great job, very professionally done. We are very happy we found Ashley Fuel. Great company and great people.

When I needed a new furnace I contacted my former oil company which I had been a customer for 32 years. I’ll leave their name out of it. They had been through 3 rolls ups (acquisitions) and the service level was barely tolerable. After receiving a quote, they didn’t respond to any of my questions of concerns. So I asked for a recommendation from a friend in the plumbing supply business and he recommended I speak with Paul Ashley of Ashley Fuel. I thought I was going to get a quote from Paul, but he really responded to me with a newly engineered steam boiler system proposal. I learned that the old system I had (which failed prematurely) wasn’t installed properly. For years and since they installed it in the mid 2000’s, I had wrestled with problems from the boiler which my old company (a major regional servicer) came and attempted to fix but never could. Yes I was billed for all those failed fixes. After a 1 hour thorough inspection of my set up, Paul met me in person on a 2nd visit to review the proposal and explain his analysis. He pointed to systemic problems in my prior system and taught me to understand why they failed. Paul also headed off major two major problems (safety related) that were inevitable to occur that my old company didn’t propose or even talk about. I eagerly accepted the Paul’s proposal. The scope of project proposal included ADDITIONAL attributes such as: Rerouting my oil line off the floor onto the ceiling. Replacing wet return pipes that had been in contact with concrete. Providing an entirely new hot water tank and operating system ALL FOR LESS COST than the lower quality work proposal from my prior company. When the install date came, I commented to Andrew that it was executed with military precision. There weren’t windows of time – they arrived and started work exactly when the said they would. They never used the words “we’ll try” it was only “I will”. Which they did. The company is family run and on the 2nd day of install I met Paul’s grandson Jack. The wife and daughter work in the office and answered my administrative calls (scheduling and billing). They use American made parts and have extreme pride in their product. My only regret is that I had not asked for the referral to them 20 years ago! Thank you Paul, Kim, Andrew, Gia and Jack – what an awesome business you operate and I am proud to be a “forever” client.
