A June 2025 customer described ending a garage-and-mudroom contract with At Your Service Home Renovations almost a year after signing, with the project about halfway complete. The reviewer named Marc Miller and raised detailed complaints about charges, construction mistakes and access to receipts. The customer said a survey was charged at $6,800, although the surveyor told them it cost approximately $3,400. They also reported a $2,800 engineering charge against an invoice for $1,830, and said Miller added a garage-floor charge after saying he had forgotten to include that cost. The same reviewer said a stair landing prevented their car from entering the garage without hitting its edge. They attributed the problem to Miller's miscalculations and said they were charged to rebuild it. They also alleged that he refused to provide receipts or invoices for questioned payments. These were the customer's allegations in that June 2025 review.

Do not hire Marc Miller from At Your Service Home Renovations. I made the mistake of signing a contract with him which I dissolved almost a year after signing the contract and the project was only about 50% complete. Among other issues, Mr. Miller was charged me $6800 for a survey, which I found in speaking with the surveyor was approximately $3400. He also said he "forgot" to include the cost of a garage floor and was charging extra for that. He charged $2800 for an engineering firm when the invoice was for $1830. He charged me to rebuild a stair landing that had to be rebuilt due to his own miscalculations. I could not drive the car into the garage without hitting the edge of the landing. He refused to send me receipts or invoices for payments made that I questioned. I could go on, but I think I have cited more than enough reason not to hire Mr. Miller. In short, I found him to be dishonest in his record keeping and lacking in the skills needed to build a simple garage and mudroom.
