Every review of Auralis Water Restoration reads a little like a thank-you note with a name attached — Jamie and Issac, Ricardo, Fernando, Tyler — the same pattern of a real technician showing up, explaining what's happening to the house, and finishing the job. The Newton, MA company describes itself as a water damage restoration outfit handling flood water removal, moisture control, mold remediation, sewage cleanup and odor removal for Newton and the surrounding Middlesex County. The streak holds up under a closer look: all 20 of its Google reviews sit at five stars, and the six most recent — dated between January and April 2026 — keep landing on the same two things. Fernando beat a client's own estimate of "tomorrow" by showing up early and walking through the repair step by step. A basement flood was handled quickly enough that the homeowner called the place back to normal fast, and a leak-day cleanup that included plastering, trim work and painting wrapped the same day it started. Nobody in that recent window had a complaint. Before booking, know that this reputation lives almost entirely on Google — a scattering of contractor-directory sites (a sewer-repair hub, a home-quotes aggregator, a couple of restoration-lead sites) just repost that same listing, and they don't even agree with each other on the count: one shows 19 reviews, another shows 9, while Google itself shows 20. Treat those secondhand numbers as noise and look at the source directly. It's also a fairly young track record — the reviews only go back to mid-2025 — so the five-star run, while consistent, hasn't been tested over many years yet. Auralis reads like the right call for an active leak, a flooded basement, or storm cleanup in the Newton area, especially given how often reviewers mention someone from the crew narrating the process as it happens. Worth confirming directly: which of the broader self-reported services — mold remediation versus straightforward water extraction — a given technician will actually handle on the visit, since that list is wider than what shows up in the reviews themselves.

Yes, our water heater sprung a leak. Jamie and Issac explained everything well and were very patient as I asked a lot of questions. The guys are honest, polite and professional. When they needed my attention in the office from where I work, they were also polite and courteous. I even forgot taking photos before they started working, which they grabbed, but were kind enough to explain the next steps of this journey of restoration/repair.

Ricardo and the team have helped me improve my understanding of dealing with problems involving water, despite having a great deal of experience in renovations. They were prompt, and they were professional. They dried the affected area, and kept checking on it throughout the process. We were pleased. I was not aware of this, but my claims adjuster said that remediation service were needed to settle a claim. I hope that I won’t need to use their services ever again, but they will definitely be my first choice if and when I do!

It is the best. Other than dealing with the insurance, everything went according to schedule. They would be recommended.

Fernando was called by a client to check out some repairs. He said, "I’ll be there Tomorrow." He beat us to it, took his sweet time with my client and explained everything clearly. It is obvious that he has won a loyal customer due to his outstanding customer service and his flawless work. !

Great job on the clean up and putting back everything, including plastering, trimming work, and painting. Tyler was there the same day as the leak and ensured a smooth process. I would definitely use them again.
