Bates Electrical Corp. is a Roslindale electrical contractor offering residential repairs, emergency service, and wiring upgrades. Its site says it has served Roslindale since the neighborhood first lit up. The only written customer account, from June 2026, credits electrician Hien with reconnecting downed service-entry wires and completing the permit process. The customer also said the household was without power for 12 days and found Bates' scheduling unsatisfactory while waiting for an emergency response; much of the delay was attributed to Boston's permit process and Eversource requirements. That is a meaningful account of emergency electrical work, but it is a very small review history. Bates may fit Roslindale homeowners needing repairs, upgrades, or urgent service; ask how permit timing and emergency scheduling will work for your project before booking.
Electrician Hien did a great job connecting downed service entry wires and seeing the permit process through 5 stars. We were without power for 12 days Bates Electrical did add some delay "scheduling" not great when without power and hoping for an emergency response, mostly it took a long time due to the Boston permit process that Eversource was requiring to turn power back on. The company location on google and their website are strange
