Bay Point

A ducted mini-split system with new attic ductwork, installed in two days, is one of the projects customers describe for Bay Point. In an October 2023 review, a homeowner with a 100-year-old house says Sam and his crew did that work, then Sam returned when the customer was available to explain the system and its Wi-Fi app. The reviewer also describes help with a Mass Save HEAT loan and rebate work. Bay Point says it is a family-owned HVAC and plumbing company serving Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. Its website identifies Sam as the owner and says he started in the trade at 15 and has more than a decade of experience. Alongside heating and cooling, the company advertises tankless water heaters, ductless and geothermal systems, and solar-panel installation. It describes itself as a Mass Save partner. In a March 2026 review, a customer describes hiring Samuel and his team to replace a problematic system installed by another company. The customer says Samuel responded promptly, provided a fair quote and kept them updated, and that the team left the workspace tidy when finished. A July 2025 reviewer describes mini-splits, conversion to gas with a new furnace and a new water heater, praising Sam and his team's timeliness and follow-up. Another July 2025 customer reports a same-day visit that fixed an issue. Older projects include a whole-home ductless system with two outdoor and seven indoor units. The August 2023 reviewer says Sam and his team completed it on time and budget. In a separate August 2023 review, a customer describes mini-split installation and says Sam filled out rebate paperwork. A November 2023 customer describes a ducted heat pump, a basement mini-split and an electric hot-water heater. That reviewer says Sam and the team worked around their four-month-old baby's naps and changing sleeping locations, and that Sam helped with Mass Save rebates. A January 2023 customer praises timely completion, removal of the old heating system and cleanup, while reporting a condenser-noise issue. The reviewer says Sam was responsive about the noise. In December 2022, a customer says Sam came the next day, identified why the thermostat was not working and restored heat. An October 2022 reviewer describes replacement of a failed boiler and water heater with a combi unit, plus a heat pump and an additional downstairs split system. After using the installed systems, that customer says the equipment performed as designed and praises Sam's communication and instruction.
