Mikey T's Plumbing & Heating works Buzzards Bay, MA, and it's built for the jobs that can't wait — a dead water heater on Father's Day morning, a furnace gone quiet overnight, a toilet overflowing with nobody else home. The company describes itself as a residential and light-commercial plumbing and gas-piping outfit offering installation, repair, radiant heating, and round-the-clock emergency service, and it still trades under the name of its founder, 'Mikey T,' who reviewers say answers his own phone. What keeps showing up across its 101 Google ratings (4.8 stars) is how fast that phone gets answered. A Father's Day call about no hot water brought someone out in 45 minutes with a new thermal coupling installed. A pregnant homeowner home alone with two kids under five, worried a burst pipe was behind an overflowing toilet, had a crew there within the hour. Reviewers this year also describe a same-day fix for a clogged pipe, a washer valve swapped out with a quick how-to thrown in, and a mother's severely leaking toilet handled within 24 hours of the first call — with Rob and Stevie named by one reviewer as the technicians who actually did the work. Ninety-six reviews stretch back to 2023 across four sources, and the pace of praise hasn't slowed. The one real complaint in that stack is a $650 bill to relight a fireplace pilot, after the customer was quoted a $300 minimum — the gap chalked up to a drive-time charge that wasn't mentioned upfront. It's worth asking how a job will be priced before it starts, especially for anything beyond a quick repair. The company's own instinct seems to run the other way elsewhere: more than one reviewer describes getting sent off without a bill when nothing was actually wrong, or getting the fix walked through over the phone instead of a paid visit. Its Massachusetts plumbing license (10851-PL-M) is active with the state, and it's a listed member of the Buzzards Bay Chamber of Commerce. For a clogged drain, a failing water heater, or heat that's stopped working, this reads as a call-and-they-show-up shop — just get the price in writing if the job looks like more than a quick fix.

Excellent service! It was great to find someone local in the area. Mike was professional and very helpful. He installed a new value for my washer and took it upon himself to teach me a few things I might need repairs for in the future. Thanks again Mike!

I called them in a pinch to remove a sink at 2pm and they came out the next morning! Professional and fairly priced. Will be using them again!

This gentlemen's company was recommended to me by a trusted friend, who has been a licensed plumber for decades, and I wholeheartedly forward the recommendation. My mother's toilet was leaking severely, causing stress and confusion. Within 24 hours of my call they were there , handled the problem, and were completely fair and reasonable in their solving of any concerns in on a challenging issue. If you need a plumber, here's your guy!
