Bella Pools runs out of South Yarmouth, building and maintaining in-ground pools across Cape Cod, and its Google page has piled up 160 ratings averaging 4.8 stars. Reviewers describe it as a family-run operation that has been around a long time, and the same three names keep showing up across those reviews — owner Jeff, and Beth and Courtney in the office — which is unusual on its own; homeowners don't typically remember a pool company's office staff by name unless they've dealt with them for years. That long-relationship pattern shows up directly, too. In a December 2024 review, a customer said they had been with the company for over 20 years; another, in October 2023, put their own tenure at about a decade, describing an original pool install with a cobblestone deck the company still opens, closes and services every season. A May 2026 review described 15 years of cleaning and maintenance. Installs get singled out for finishing on schedule — one 2025 review described a 2022 build that came in on time and within budget while the company coordinated multiple subcontractors, and a November 2023 review described a pool liner replacement completed on time with no complaints about the finished work. The stone and hardscape side gets its own praise, too: retaining walls, patios and stairs in one review, and separately, reviewers mention irrigation, planting and a travertine pool surround as part of larger backyard projects — work that reads more like a landscaping outfit bolted onto the pool business than a narrow pool shop. The last six months carry nine reviews with no negative ones, but the older record isn't spotless, and the rough edges cluster around billing rather than workmanship. A September 2025 review warned simply to "watch how they bill you," and a June 2025 review described billing as inconsistent and called out slow, unhelpful phone support by name. A 2024 review said a request to repair irrigation work the company had originally installed went without a callback. The sharpest complaint is older still — a 2022 review described a misdiagnosed pool leak that cost $1,000 to sort out and said the owner was too busy to get involved directly. Bella Pools reads as the right call for a Cape homeowner planning a real in-ground pool project — install, hardscape and ongoing seasonal service together — rather than a one-off repair. Confirm pricing and billing terms up front, and ask who handles a service request once the crew has moved on to the next job.
It was easy with Bella Highly recommend
We have been Bella Pool customers for several years and couldn't be more satisfied with all of their services. We had a major remodeling with our pool stairs that we love and this year had a heatpump installed and are thrilled with it. We also have weekly cleaning and maintenance of our pool and have found the employees are all knowledgeable and friendly. We would highly recommend Bella Pools for all pool needs.
Highly recommend Bella Pools. They are very helpful when you have a problem and very prompt with the cleaning.
Bella Pools has done an excellent job cleaning and maintaining our pool for the last 15 years.
