Bernier Building & Remodeling, Inc.

We hired Jason and his team to remodel the second-floor family bathroom in our 1970 colonial home, which had last been updated in the early 1990s. After experiencing plumbing issues last year that caused water to seep from the bathtub on the second floor into our kitchen ceiling, we decided it was time for a bathroom remodel and contacted Jason. His team updated our basement a few years ago so we knew the quality and value we were getting with this project. Jason is a thorough and involved contractor. He recommended the best layout for the bathroom space and suggested opening a soffit to provide more room and improve ventilation for the shower/tub unit. Throughout the project, he or a team member was present to monitor and manage all aspects, from demolition, replumbing, and rewiring to the final placement of fixtures, ensuring everything met building standards and our satisfaction. He also addressed mold and water issues, using quality materials to prevent future problems. One suggestion for homeowners planning a remodel; make sure all products, fixtures, and tiles are ordered, delivered, and inspected before the project starts. We mistakenly waited to order the shower/tub unit until after the demolition, which led to a scramble for a timely delivery only to find that the unit was damaged upon arrival. Thankfully, we managed to get another unit delivered and ready for the plumber when he arrived. Thank you to Jason and his team for guiding us through this process and helping us stay on track to complete the remodel within our timeframe.

We just completed a multi-room renovation project with Bernier Building & Remodeling Inc. and are happy with the outcome. Our goal was to create a first floor living space so that we can age in this house. Jason and his team took our vision and made it a reality. The project consisted of renovation of : a living room with vaulted ceiling, skylights and a beautiful staircase that is now the centerpiece of our home; a master bedroom and bath connected to a screened room and front deck; and moved the laundry room to the first floor. Jason coordinated the project from design through construction. He kept us apprised of the project progress throughout and completed on schedule. Jason and his team were very personable and professional resulting in quality craftsmanship and construction. We would recommend Bernier Building and Remodeling Inc to anyone wishing to renovate their home. Many thanks to Jason and his team for helping us create this dream.

We just completed remodeling our master bathroom and renovating our guest bathroom with Jason Bernier, Bernier Building and Remodeling. We have a 1960's raised ranch home with older plumbing and electrical systems. Jason and his project manager, Arturo, came in with their subcontractors and got right to work. They were always on time, cleaned up at the end of each day, and kept us involved and updated on progress every day. Everything ran on the time line discussed before the project started, and we were able to stay in our house during the two months it took for the job to be completed. Jason works with wonderful subcontractors who are polite, reliable and a pleasure to work with. They rebuilt part of our master bath, gave me an amazing walk in tiled shower, renovated our guest bath, replaced the old plumbing and electrical systems and repaired the floors/ceilings. Updating the plumbing and electric required a bit of work outside of the bathrooms and they were able to take care of all these issues as well. Jason and his team were great and we are so happy to have two great bathrooms. We will definitely use them again for any remodel in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jason Bernier for several home projects, including refinishing hardwood floors, drywall work, repairing a water-damaged door and doorframe, and painting the house. Jason's communication was excellent; he kept me informed at every step and ensured I understood the progress. Jason and his team were always punctual and completed the work ahead of schedule, which was incredibly refreshing. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations—the floors look brand new, the drywall is seamless, and the door repairs resolved the water damage issue. The painting was meticulous and gave the house a fresh look. Pricing was very reasonable, with no hidden costs or surprises. Jason provided a fair estimate upfront and stuck to it. His entire team was professional, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend Jason Bernier for any home improvement projects. His communication, timeliness, quality of work, and professional team make him the best contractor I've ever worked with.

We hired Jason and his team to do a full master bath remodel in our 100+ year old home that had an unfortunately non functional jetted tub and not a bit of storage anywhere. 6 weeks later we have a full spa like result, could not have asked for more. Great communication, incredibly diligent and careful team, courteous and professional at every step. Will gladly use his services in the future. No surprises, high quality and reliable, thumbs up across the board.
