Bonanno Construction is a family-run masonry and hardscaping company in Woburn, working on patios, stone walls, steps, walkways, and related site and excavation work, alongside broader home improvement and general contracting projects. The company traces back to a small landscape masonry business started in the 1960s and has been run since by brothers Tino and Bob Bonanno, sons of Luciano Bonanno. Reviews on Google and Thumbtack from 2022 through 2026 are overwhelmingly five-star, describing responsive communication, tidy crews, and durable stonework, and the Better Business Bureau gives the business an A+ rating. Its home improvement contractor license is active per the state license registry, while a separate construction supervisor license on file with the state is expired. In an April 2026 review, one client said a staff member hung up on them.
“anno Construction in ... So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. Started as a small landscape masonry company in the 60’s by my dad. Myself and my brother took over in the late 90’s. At this point, we had been strictly masonry for 10 years. We took the company and turned it into a total hardscape outdoor living installer that we are today. ... Has it been a smooth road? We’ve used these guys twice now, and are really glad we did both times. Most recently, we had them rebuild front steps up to our walkway that were not made right from the very start, with the wrong rise and run (and bad mortar that kept failing), creating both an awkward feeling when you step up on them, and danger for people who are less able-bodied. The crew did an excellent job fixing the mistakes of others and building steps that will clearly last for many years to come.
Tino is kind, hard working, knowledgable with 50+ years of experiences. He takes a great pride in his work and it shows. He and his crew did an amazing job on my basement, walkway/patio and installation of pop up for sump pump and downspout. They did everything on time and on budget and Everything he did is high quality at fair pricing. No one can beat his quality work at that competitive price. I’m a very happy customer and will definitely hire him again when future needs arises. Thank you Tino!
I would not Recommend Jamie hangs up on clients
Amazing experience working with Bonanno construction (a year ago) to redo a large backyard patio and retaining wall. I talked to multiple companies and Tino was by far the most engaged in having an overall vision for the space, making recommendations I hadn't thought of. Tino and his team were excellent during execution of the project to and were great at communicating throughout and making audibles. They did "attention to detail" things we never would've even thought of. It totally transformed the space. I wish all contractors had this much pride in their work. Strongly recommend
Pleasure to work with Tino Bonanno and his work crew. Was always responsiveness to requests on information and quotes. Would use them again on future projects.
