Brissette Electric is a Martha's Vineyard electrical contractor on Lagoon Pond Road in Vineyard Haven, run by Jarret Brissette, whom The MV Times pictured with his crew. The company's site says it handles residential and commercial work, including private utilities, solar installation, service upgrades, emergency generators and lighting design. Martha's Vineyard Magazine has named it Best Electrical Contractor and called it one of the trusted names on the Island for keeping lights on, solar panels running and generators humming. Its BBB grade is A+, and BBB lists it as open since 2017. The Google picture is thinner and mixed: 6 ratings averaging 3 stars. The one written Google review, from September 2024, is glowing. That customer said Brissette squeezed in a small job left over from another company's installation even as the season got busy, that the technician, Leo, was a knowledgeable and prompt troubleshooter who did not cut corners, and that the cost was very reasonable. Its Massachusetts electrician licence, #21641, is active on the state registry, held by Jarret F. Brissette.
